perfect stay at the Lago, if you look for something calm and not too touristic

Very unpleasant, left without breakfast; the dog was not allowed in the restaurant.

Not much. I was left at reception while the receptionist talked on the telephone. I was asked if I am Swiss. And although I stated we were bringing a dog, there was some surprise and a veiled threat: is it a well behaved dog?

The hotel is clean but without personality. The receptionist more than difficult. To my question if they prefer cash- come il vuole. The beds are too old and no longer serviceable. The towels are paper thin. The linoleum floor is marked. It is noisy.

Very good

Location in Losone is very convenient. Walking distance to grotto restaurants. Short drive to Maggiatal, Centovalli, Ascona, Locarno, etc. Very handy to busstop for Locarno and you can get the Ticino public trandport tickets free if you are a hotel guest. The hotel itself is simple but good value for money for this area. The staff are friendly. Very good information in the reception area for travellers. Nice breakfast including frsh fruit.

Perfect location for exploring the lake and the valleys

Convenient location if arriving by car as the property offers free parking and the Ticino tickets which allows you to take public transports for free. Bus stops are near by to reach without changes Locarno and Ascona.

Overall the room was fair for the price, but a small fridge would be handy in the summer.

A nice hotel with a good value for money

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The room had a comfortable size and was cleaned daily. The next bus stop is only 50 meters away. Buses come at least every 15 minutes. There are connections to Locarno, Ascona and some smaller cities nearby

The beds are the only thing we didn't like. They are uncomfortable and I could hear the springs creak when I turned around

Alright for a night. Maybe it is better in Winter

Breakfast was alright. Staff was VERY friendly.

However the noise of the traffic was quite loud unless the balcony doors were closed. In summer I recommend that a Ventilator/Fan be at disposal.No scenic view.
