"My stay was a disappointing and insecure experience that fell short of expectations."

Subject: Formal Complaint regarding Misleading Booking and Unlicensed Operation at pleasant stay Abu Dhabi Dear Team I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction and concern regarding a booking I made through your platform for a night at pleasant stay Abu Dhabi. Upon arrival at the location, I discovered that the accommodation was a private room that did not match the description provided. The room was significantly smaller than advertised, the bed was uncomfortable, and the washroom lacked lighting and was in an unsanitary condition. Furthermore, the host's behavior was unprofessional and raised serious concerns about security and privacy. I was asked to provide of my Emirates ID and leter on he took a picture in front of me which I consider an unacceptable and potentially unsafe request. Moreover, I have reason to believe that the individuals operating this business are not fully licensed by the relevant authorities in the UAE, which raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and safety of the operation. The experience was extremely disappointing and fell far short of the standards I expect from a legitimate accommodation provider. I believe it is essential that immediate action is taken to address this issue and prevent similar incidents in the future. I request a full refund for the booking and urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly, including verifying the licensure and compliance of the host with UAE regulations. Sincerely

The place is a scam !!! Don't go there or they will still your money ! We was making one reservation of 10 rooom, fully payd true booking. In the eaving of arrival, nowbody was answering to whants app phone. We was going to the adress. When they see us there they say ohh sory we was thinking you are not coming. They ghive us 3 rooms very dirty, and some beds with ather perssons inside ! When clearly we was booking 10 rooms ! When we was calling to booking to say the problem, this gys they reply we was not there , we didn*t go to the property, it was a no show, we just whant to thake theyr money ! But we was there , we have pictures with all group, with the dirty rooms etc. Unortunatly booking didn*t do nothing also !

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding a serious violation of consumer rights, misrepresentation of the property, and unauthorized check-in using my ID without my consent. I visited the property solely to inspect it. Upon arrival, I found that the place is completely unsuitable and unsafe for women. The property appears to be a shared bachelor/worker accommodation, not a legitimate or secure hotel as advertised. The location was extremely difficult to access, and there was no visible signboard or hotel identification. There was no hotel security present. When I asked the building guard about the hotel, he responded aggressively, stating that there was no hotel or accommodation there and ordered me to leave. His behavior caused me fear and distress. The person in charge then took me to a shared room occupied by multiple workers and later suggested placing me alone in a room adjacent to them. This situation made me feel unsafe and threatened, and I immediately left the premises. After leaving, I contacted the staff and clearly informed them that I would not stay and requested immediate cancellation due to safety concerns. I was assured that the booking would be cancelled and that management would be informed. Despite this, the full amount was charged, and my booking was checked in and checked out without my consent, even though I never stayed at the property. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the property and management via phone and WhatsApp, all of which have been ignored.

This conduct constitutes: • Misrepresentation of services • Failure to provide a safe accommodation • Unauthorized use of my identification • Fraudulent check-in and check-out • Violation of consumer protection and hospitality regulations I hereby formally demand: 1. Immediate cancellation confirmation 2. Full refund of the amount paid 3. Written clarification regarding the unauthorized use of my ID If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will proceed with formal complaints to the booking platform, Consumer Protection authorities, Tourism Department, and the Police, without further notice. This message serves as official legal notice. I expect a written response and full refund without delay.

Absolutely worthless

There was nothing to like about the stay. The room was noisy, and management was uncooperative — they did not allow early check-in and were rude in WhatsApp communication. They even asked for extra charges unexpectedly. Overall, very poor hospitality and a disappointing experience.

Loud music started as early as 5 AM and continued for over 10 minutes, making it impossible to rest. The bed corners were dirty and the mattress didn’t fit properly. The place was just a room in a flat — extremely unhygienic with zero sense of hospitality. Communication was unprofessional and disappointing.
