Accueil chaleureux, très bon emplacement, studio extrêmement propre, adapté à notre demande avec un magnifique extérieur pratique en été pour les repas.

Das Apartment im EG hat alles, was man braucht und ist schön und modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, das grosse Bad und das wäre auch für eingeschränkte Personen eingerichtet. Das absolute Plus ist der geschlossene Innenhof, der frei zur Benützung steht (wird mit dem 2. Apartment geteilt), welcher auch einen Garten ist, einen schönen Wintergarten mit Lounge hat und zudem einen gedeckten Esstisch mit Bänken. Wenn es das Wetter zulässt, dann kann man auch draussen essen. Der Vermieter ist zudem extrem liebevoll und herzlich. Man ist auch zu Fuss sofort im Zentrum, hat Lebensmitteläden, einen Pizzakurrier, eine Bäckerei, Bars und Restaurant sowie einen grossen öffentlichen Parkplatz ect. direkt um sich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The property is ideally located for accessing Bayeux town and all restaurants, museums etc. and the parking is actually in a public (free) car park in Place de la Lombarderie, approximately 200 yard away. We parked there overnight with no problems. The location is ideal for touring the Normandy beach areas all within short driving distances on good quality roads. There is a farmers market each Saturday in a car park very near to the property which was well worth a visit. A 15 minute walk takes you into the centre of Bayeux where you have an excellent choice of bars, restaurants, shops and the tourist sites. The owners live in an adjacent property. The Victory is located on the ground floor within a courtyard with a secure gate. It is well appointed and spotlessly clean with all items of equipment as listed. The bathroom is spacious with all facilities one might wish/expect, as is the kitchen area. The courtyard has a marble table and bench style seating as well as a covered conservatory style lounge area should you wish to sit and eat/drink of an evening.

I booked this apartment for my son and I to experience and enjoy the D Day celebrations which we did however, whilst this is a very good property I believe it is more suitable for say a couple prepared to share a sofa bed as there is NO BEDROOM which we had expected based on the description. In my opinion the website description is potentially misleading as regards sleeping accommodation which clearly states *The Victory...offers a one-bedroom apartment with a private bathroom and a spacious living room... It further states " Bedroom: 1 sofa bed followed by living Room: 1 sofa bed". On our arrival we found this to be inaccurate - there is no bedroom just a living room with the sofa bed as pictured. The additional reference namely " Extra long beds (> 2 metres)” also suggests more than one bed. The sofa bed is long and when opened up could be considered to be two beds but again, in my opinion, that's stretching one’s imagination. We made the best of the situation but it took the edge off our overall enjoyment. I believe the wording should be amended to avoid any confusion and disappointment for other users. We discussed this with our host prior to departure.

We liked the location outdoor space & extremely helpful host. A very well equipped studio.
