A lovely apartment in the centre of Bayeux. Parking is nearby (metered but not expensive) which you’ll find after drivin

Location in the old town and top floor.

I received the code for the door at the very last minute. When I put my suitcase flat on the floor I noticed that the floor did not look clean(I used the vacuum left in the small bedroom to clean the floor). There was not one soap for hands or body anywhere in the flat (not in the bathroom, not in the kitchen area). I was supplied less than a third of toilet paper for 3 nights, could not find more anywhere (photo). One of the two towels was well past its prime (photo). The bed was one very thin sheet that also was past its prime directly on the mattress (photo). When I mentioned dirt on the floor, asked for another sheet for the bed and told the host about the lack of toilet tissue this was his reply: ''Très étonné de votre retour à peine arrivé. Ce n’est pas les retours que j’ai habituellement, depuis 5 ans de location.'' and he did nothing A good host would fix at least some of the issues. I was never provided with more toilet paper. To top it all there was no hot water on the 2nd night, none at all, And none on day three, still none end of afternoon so I spent the 3rd night in a wonderful hotel nearby. After a perfect stay and host in Dinan, this was a huge let down except for location.

Perfect place to stay whilst visiting the Normandy Landing Beaches.

Great location, right in the middle of the old centre of Bayeux, and within a few minutes walk of the Cathedral and a good selection of restaurants. Very quiet, comfortable apartment.

Ok other than the bedding issue.

Great location. Convenient.

The bedding was poor and was completely washed out. On stripping the bed it was found that the duvet and pillows were heavily stained to such an extent that, had I known, I would have probably asked for them to be exchanged. I’m afraid to say that the aforementioned problem cast a shadow over our stay and I would expect the problem to be rectified asap. Further to my observations, the mattress wasn’t really fit for purpose as it dipped in the middle. The bedding issue soured our stay somewhat after what appeared a promising beginning.

Modern and centrally located, plenty to see and do nearby. Great for couples!

The property is very well located, central with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Additionally, the Bayeux Cathedral is very close and during summer there is a night time light display that is simply fantastic. The property is modern, clean, and spacious with a stove top and microwave which was great as we did cook dinner one night. On top of this, the host was very responsive to questions via the messaging platform on booking.com. I truly recommend this place and would stay here again if I ever come back to the beautiful town of Bayeux.

The bed could be better, but this is a minor complaint.

Les plaids !! Meilleure idée en cette période ! 🥶 J'ai pu me cacher dedans pour lire en restant au chaud. La vue sur la cathédrale est également superbe ! 🤩

Juste la bouilloire qui tombe en panne, mais rien de bien grave, j'ai pu faire bouillir de l'eau dans une casserole.
