Superb location

The location was superb, right in the centre of town. Walking distance to Bayeux Cathedral and tapestry. Nice restaurants nearby. The apartment was very spacious for our family of 5, 2 adults, 2 teens and 10 year old. Would definitely recommend.

The one toilet downstairs was a bit tricky at night if you were sleeping up in the attic bedroom. Manageable though.

Great venue for the centre of Bayeux and our D Day tour

The location for the main street in Bayeux and all the tourism areas was perfect. As a group of four this property worked very well as we could all have separate rooms with a little rejigging. We did not use the kitchen or other facilities as we were out most of the time so cannot comment. The hosts information is superb including where to park for free.

The staircase at the top floor is a little scary, and I would not recommend this if you have any fears of height or mobility issues. One toilet and bathroom requires a bit of organisation in the morning, but we managed it ok

A wonderful place to explore Normandy.

This property is exceptional! It is located in the heart of Bayeux’s historic district in a character filled building that has been entirely redone with all the modern amenities. It’s cozy and convenient. We look forward to returning to it for future stays.

It did not bother us but it is a three level building with stairs, which are part of the charm — vacationers to take note.

The apartment is nicely furnished and very well equipped. Communication with the host was easy. The place is in the center of Bayeux close to tourist attractions and shops.

Precisely because the flat is in the center, it is a bit noisy. The noise is not really a problem during the day, but at night, especially with the windows open.

Beautiful property, comfortable, located in a culturally rich area.

relatively easy - there is an outside door which leads to the apartment. In fact, it is the outside door which has number 1, after which one needs to take the stairs and check the door number 4 to enter the apartment.

For a group of 7 it has only one shower, so it can be a bit crowded in the morning. Luckily the toilet is separate from the shower. The position of the bed in the upper dormitory- is a bit difficult to access the bed on the other side due to the beams.

Very efficient but not very comfortable

The location is very central. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking at home. There is a large area for free city parking nearby. The host was very quick to respond even after 10pm when we had a few issues upon arrival.

The pictures and 3D rendering are a bit misleading. They don’t accurately portray just how narrow and treacherous the stairs are (my father struggles with stairs and was unable to go beyond the main floor). The Yaggo app was difficult to use (wouldn’t always load) and didn’t have all the info we needed. The shower and toilet are separated in rooms on opposite sides of the kitchen. The shower drained very slowly leaving members of our party to take showers in short bursts while they waited for the water to drain. It also had a broken lamp above making it quite dark & a good bit of what appeared to be mold and/or rust all around. The lack of an AC or a single fan was really difficult when we visited in late June; the heat can be abated by opening the many large windows, however because the location is right in the center this means deciding between listening to teens on motorbikes loudly vroom by blasting their music at 1am OR roast yourself in rooms that get increasingly stuffy the further up and in you go. Despite booking for a family of 6 we were only provided two partial rolls of toilet paper. The host said she would come to bring more and fix the issues in the shower room; however, when we arrived back to the apartment in the evening there was no evidence the host had indeed stopped by. We had to buy our own toilet paper.

Fantastic location, close to all the sights and restaurants in Bayeux a well as being close to the beaches.Well equipped and very clean. Quirky , interesting layout and free parking close by. Best of all huge comfortable beds!

We were there over a weekend and it was noisy at night on Friday and Saturday,, but that's to be expected at such a central location. Maybe avoid on those nights if you're a light sleeper!

Bayeux itself is a lovely town. However it would have been nice to know that the shops and majority of restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The 2 days were we there.

This property allowed us to feel like we were a genuine part of the town of Bayeux.

Lots of character to this property -- the apartment is spread out over three floors in a centuries-old building. We were right in the city center and felt like we were part of the community.

The wi-fi was out of service, which seemed to be a region-wide problem due to a fiberoptic cable that was done. We were able to get date through our cellphone plan, but had to exit the building and get into the open to do so. Also, the shower drained very slowly. We had to take quick showers to make sure the shower stall didn't overflow.

Great location with a beautiful interior, really only one minor frustration.

The location was great - easily found parking and no fees for parking. Beatrice was very accommodating. She responded promptly to my questions. The place was very cute and comfortable and big. The 5 of us were very comfortable. I didn’t use it but there was an espresso maker. It was nice to have ice in the freezer.

The wifi didn’t work. It connected us but there was no internet connection. The washer washed clothes only - No dryer - used drying rack but left with wet clothes. Stairs to get to the location.

The location was perfect. There is free parking at the end of the road at Place Charles de Gaulle. The tapestry museum is a few minutes walk a way and the D Day beaches a short drive. Beatrice was extremely kind letting us stay an extra hour or two after check out as our car had broken down and we were waiting for it to be repaired. It's very comfortable and well equipped. I highly recommend it.

A few cleaning issues at the beginning but these were addressed. A couple of the appliances need renewing. Be careful on the stairs to the top floor.

A great apartment in the heart of historic Bayeux!

My family and I stayed in Bayeux while we toured the Normandy beaches, spending two nights. The property is well-located, within walking distance of dozens of shops and restaurants, and about a 5-minute walk to the cathedral. It doesn't feel like an apartment, but more like a condominium (we never heard the lone neighbor). You don't just get corner views from the building; the building is ON a corner, so the lighting and airflow is amazing. The rooms are spacious, and the windows block out 90% of the sound from the streets below. While we didn't read any of the library (we speak minimal French), we did enjoy the large table and the tic-tac-toe! The full kitchen was nice for preparing meals. An added bonus was that the toilet was separate from the sink/shower. This allowed several people to use the shower without having to wait for it to "clear". ;-) I would highly recommend this place. It added a cultural touch to our visit that would have been lacking with a hotel. While there are three beds, one is a double-twin (pushed together, European-style). When you add in the fold-out couch, you could have 5 separate sleeping arrangements. Finally, Beatrice was very responsive. We got a response within minutes of contacting her.

The main shower nozzle worked, but three of the four smaller nozzles did not. Not a big deal, but it could be improved upon.
