Beautiful location, comfortable apartments, good wifi, responsive hosts, and walking distance to everything we needed in Bayeux. The accommodations were clean, quiet, and safe. Perfect location to tour the city and access the D-day beach and Mont St Michel tour buses. Very close to many boulangerie to find our morning coffee and pastry and many cafes and bars to wind down at night with local cider. Excellent shopping as well and we had the good fortune to see two separate farmers markets--lovely!
No AC!! Having lived in France previously, I understand that most houses here do not have AC. However, being in Bayeux during the horrific heat of June 2026, the apartments were beyond stifling. My family is not unused to heat, we come from Alabama and Arizona in the US, but having no access to AC in the apartments nor in most all shops and restaurants in town made for a very dangerous vacation. Recommend not renting this apartment in the summer months as the risk of extreme heat is high.

The location was excellent. Tucked away through the courtyard. Lovely garden. Clean and quirky! Good shower room. Lovely large private terrace.
The pillows could be better. Didn’t know what kind of coffee machine it was before we arrived so couldn’t use that. Would have been better if there was a french press coffee maker. Perhaps supply some pods for the machine.

We loved the position. It was very central and in a pretty courtyard. The owners have clearly thought hard about making the appartment stylish, attractive and user friendly and it is all those things. They also sent a very useful e-booklet some days before we arrived which was thoughtful and very much appreciated.
The sofa is unbearably uncomfortable to sit on and as the only relaxed seating should be replaced immediately. We had to use the all the bedroom pillows to make it bearable. The bed is difficult to get to due to lack of headspace and the kitchen area needs some (any) workspace.
