Bayeux lovely but would choose different accommodation.

Location.

We wanted to use the sofa bed - we are 2 single adults but not a couple- but because we had not advised the host we didn’t have sheets or pillows . We have not had this problem previously. Of the 2 wine glasses 1 was cracked . Poor choice of glassware and drinking mugs . Toilet door doesn’t shut unless you move the bed. It was quite noisy especially on Saturday night . The kettle did not pour well so user beware ! Toaster only safe on setting 1 .

Decent value self-catering stay in well-presented apartment

The location is very good and the property itself is smart and cosy. The outer door and stairs are typical of a French communal building, in that they are far less salubrious than that apartment itself. We had no problem using the public car park opposite.

The smell of the bins in the communal courtyard - but that's being picky.

great place to stay in Bayeux

The location was excellent, the apartment was nicely furnished, it was quiet at night, the radiators worked very well to warm up the apartment when it was chilly, the kitchen facilities were good (we only used the kettle and the fridge). We used both the bedroom and the sofa bed to sleep and they were both very comfortable. We arrived at lunchtime and the apartment was already available so we could leave our bags. Communication with the hosts was very good. We picked up the keys from a drop box which was very convenient.

Apartamento luminoso, cómodo y bien equipado. Cama confortable, Wi-Fi excelente y parking gratuito justo enfrente. A pocos pasos hay una boulangerie y un Carrefour cerca. Los anfitriones son encantadores: nos recibieron con sidra, frutas y una deliciosa confitura casera. Muy recomendable para alojarse en Bayeux.

Molto accogliente e ben curato, pulitissimo, piacevole, host molto pronti e disponibili nelle comunicazioni. Posizione ottima vicino a parcheggi gratuiti e a pochi passi dal centro.

Excellentes vacances

L'emplacement était super, juste au-dessus de la place du marché, l'accès à l'appartement facile avec pas trop de marches (handicap). Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait question équipements, machine à café, grille-pain, bouilloire, plaque de cuisson mais je ne me suis pas servi de cette dernière. La salle de bains était top !

La chaleur ! Il a été très difficile de faire baisser la température de l'appartement même en ouvrant toutes les fenêtres et à cause de la proximité de la rue impossible de dormir fenêtre ouverte. c'est le seul bémol du séjour.

Fijn en ruim appartement, op steenworp van het centrum. Parkeren voor de deur op een openbare parkeerplek. Schone badkamer, het hele appartement was trouwens mooi schoon. Fijn contact met de eigenaren.

Het twee persoonsbed was vrij smal en kort. Inchecken om 17.00 en uitchecken om 10.00 uur Dit is een vrij kort tijdsbestek.

Bel appartement refait à neuf tout confort.

Appartement comme refait à neuf en plein centre ville. On peut tout faire à pied (musée, boutiques, marché le samedi matin sur place). Appartement très bien insonorisé. Parking gratuit en face de l'appartement est un vrai plus.
