Overall...just a great place to stay. All their claims in the description are true and in many cases the actuality even exceeded those claims. Very quiet, parking on the street in front of the property is free, two supermarkets in easy walking distance. Just about all of Bayeux, eg cathedral, tapestry, war museum, British war cemetry, botanical garden, are in easy walking distance for moderately fit visitors.

Great place. I would stay there again

It is a full house so there were 2 bedrooms, comfortable living/ dining room, laundry / bathroom & a separate toilet. We were on a cycling trip so it was great to have a lockable garage to store our bikes. Kitchen was well equipped & the whole house has lots of natural light

As you are responsible for disposing of the garbage & recycling they need to provide a better disposal point other than downtown Bayeau

Convenient but utilitarian rather then "cosy"; key handover etc. needs improvement

Clean pleasant house with plenty of space for four people. Within easy walking distance of Bayeux centre if you are fit. Concierge staff were helpful when we were able to make direct contact or meet them in person (not always easy or quick)

Property is run by a "concierge service" which communicates by SMS and email. There is nobody nearby to welcome guests or hand over the key. House is difficult to find without satnav Phone reception in the area unreliable.

A healthy walk

It’s a tight three-bedroom house with lots of windows to let in the light. One of the beds is a fold-out cot, but the full bed I had was just a little too lumpy, sagging. A complete kitchen and separate shower/laundry room from toilet. If you have a car, there’s parking. There is no cafe in sight, so if you don’t want to cook for yourself, you must think of that. It takes a solid fifteen minute walk to the real town of restaurants and museums; I found that healthy and pleasant. I did not have little children with me. A taxi ride in bad weather is 15€. The heat is good, though slow. The water pressure in the shower is not optimal, but the water is hot. I found it impossible to connect to the Wi-Fi. When you’re here, make sure to get the landlord to connect you before he leaves after letting you in.

Well equipped, spacious house

Large, comfortable house in quiet neighbourhood. Very well equipped with dishwasher, tv, washing machine, walk-in shower, etc. Lots of housewares and basic supplies in kitchen, worked well for self-catering. Large garden with some basic chairs to sit out on, if we had more time. The agency employee met us there and came to check out property when we left, no problems or delays. It's a bit of a walk to get to town centre but is possible. Parking was very easy. Would be a great place to stay with a family. Good value for money.

The house is a bit old-fashioned but everything worked and was in good order so no problem for us. A fan for the warm weather would be helpful. The walk into town was a bit long for us after busy days but easy to park in town.

Friendly host on arrival and checkout, great location, good size accommodation and very clean. Very well equipped with everything you can think of. A lovely garden and plenty of on street parking. A wonderful collection of furniture and generally just a really peaceful and well located place from which to explore Normandy.

Great location in quiet street close to supermarkets and not much further to walk to restaurants and town centre. Perfect for cyclists as we parked bikes securely in garage.

Convenient location and roomy house.

Very roomy, great location.

They advertise free toiletries. We were given 1 shampoo and two body soaps for 6 days. The hand soap dispenser was empty. It was stressed we needed to check out at 10 am. We were told to call when we were ready to leave to hand over the keys. We called at 9:45 am and were told someone would be over. We waited until 10:30 and no one came so we left the keys inside and left. We had to get on the road for a very long trip and didn't want the late start.

Loved this quiet retreat

Loved the beautiful windows that allowed a cross breeze. The big shower suitable for handicapped use was great too. Very quiet location as well.

House was spotlessly clean. Neighborhood was quiet. Shops and bakery within walking distance.

House was cold upon arrival and took more than 1 day to warm up to a comfortable temperature (20 degrees). A change of towels would have been nice for a stay of 5 days.

Vooral de centrale locatie in Normandie was super. Maar ook een grote supermarkt op 6 minuten lopen.

Het scheiden van afval is een ding. Dat gaat anders dan in Nederland. Lees goed de instructie. Daarnaast zijn de bedden prima maar misschien wat smaller dan wij gewend zijn.

Gute Lage und alter Charme in Bayeux

Die Originalität des Hauses an sich, will heißen: es ist eigentlich noch wie früher, und das macht den Charme des Hauses aus. Die Dusche war klasse. Matratzen extrem ok. Angesichts der Kürze der Zeit war nichts Negatives zu finden - wir suchen aber auch nicht danach!

Die Hellhörigkeit zur Strasse hin. Es sind sehr einfache Fenster, die keine Geräusche zu dämmen in der Lage sind.

Really a cosy place !

Pavillon avec jardin, très propre, très bien équipé. On s'est senti comme à la maison. Il est situé dans un quartier paisible, à 10 mn de marche d'un grand centre commercial, à 25 mn de la vieille ville.
