Nice apartment

Apartment is in the attic with high ceiling (except for the shower). It’s airy and well lighted with the roof windows. Apartment is very clean and kitchen has good supplies Excellent communications with host. We were fortunate that we didn’t have parking issues, but we only had the car for 1 day. Bayeux has one of the best macarons in France and very cheap.

There is no luggage storage available in the building. There are paid luggage storages nearby but they are closed on Sunday. There’s no morning trains to Paris on Sunday, first train is 5 pm. We had to leave on Saturday morning and the train was crazily full. This was mid September.

A cozy central stay in Bayeux

Very cozy stay with lots of natural light. Perfect central location in Bayeux, but also quiet, so we were able to rest & decompress when not out sightseeing. The bed was comfy & we loved the tub in the bathroom. Functional kitchenette (with some welcome cider provided!) that was sufficiently equipped to allow us to prepare simple meals. We felt at home right away and were sad to leave!

Despite traveling in the shoulder/off season, when we first arrived we found it quite challenging to find parking on any of the streets surrounding the apartment. We did eventually find a (temporarily free) lot relatively close by, and later in the afternoon 24/7 free spots just down the street from the apt did open up. We elected to simply leave the car parked for the rest of our stay so as to not have to deal with finding another spot.

Apartment with all you need in a great location

Fantastic 1 bedroom apartment with everything I needed. Location was great, a stone’s throw from the cathedral and town centre and also close to the Battle of Normandy Museum and war graves. I would stay again but unlikely to do so as I’ve done all Bayeux had to offer in my 2 nights stay. Recommend this for a visit to see Bayeux’s sights.

Welcoming and clear instructions from the host Christelle! A truly wonderful apartment in the heart of Bayeux. Good condition and very clean. Courtyard is quiet and has a cozy feel. Has everything you need for even a longer stay, modern and in good condition, new and big windows that you can open for good air flow, has a fan as well. On warm days it will obviously get hot tho! Overall probably the best value for money-stay I've had in years!

Sofabed not the best, has a hard "beam" in the middle.

With exposed beams and lovely character the loft space apartment was very comfortable. There was an awesome view of the rooftops and Bayuex cathedral.

Lovely central appartment close to everything

Lovely, quiet and spotless apartment in a Central location in the old town, sightseeing all done on foot. Many restaurants nearby. Comfortable bedroom.

The shower is small, my husband is a tall guy and struggled a bit with it. The appartment being located in the top floor i would not recommend it for people who cannot manage stairs with their luggage. Tobacco smell in the entrabce and the stairs.

A perfect apartment situated right in the center of the beautiful historic center of Bayeux. Less than 5 minutes to the cathedral and basically all other attractions. We loved our stay there.

Beautiful 3rd floor apartment. Skylights to view sunrises and the Cathedral lit up at night. Very convenient location. Gorgeous solid beam roof construction with original wooden pegs. Perfect kitchen. Owner is very communicative and accommodating. Quiet location and gorgeous town. Only 2.5 hrs to downtown Paris by a beautiful direct train. Great Normandy home base.

It is on the 3rd floor by stairs, not a good location if your have difficulty with stairs. But otherwise a wonderful place and hosts.

If you're going to visit the Loire Valley, this is the place to stay!!!

This place is beautiful, historic and peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and full of information about the area. They welcomed us and made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and the bed and rooms were very comfortable. Easy to get to, but still out in the country. Nice place to relax but also close enough to see the surrounding area. They have provided everything you would need and more.

Comfortable stay in Bayeux next to centre and train station

Great location close to the train station and to the city center. Clear and friendly communication with host, both online and in person - upon our arrival, host was already there waiting for us. Apartment was comfortable and clean, great value for money.

As mentioned in other reviews, the shower head with a low fixed location (so you need to hold it while showering) - not a deal breaker though, just a minor inconvenience.
