Stay in the heart of Bayeux and enjoy a fantastic vacation from this charming 1-bedroom cottage. Perfectly suited for a couple or a family of two, this home features a cozy, heated living-dining room and a central location that brings all of Bayeux’s sights and amenities within easy reach. Supermarkets and restaurants are just around the corner, allowing you to easily explore the city's authentic facades, terraces, and boutiques. Cultural attractions like the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry are a must-visit, and the ferry port and sandy beaches (9 km) are just a short drive away.
The interior is designed for comfort, with an open kitchen equipped with modern amenities including a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. The bedroom offers a restful sanctuary with a comfortable double king-size bed, while the outdoor terrace provides a lovely spot to enjoy the surrounding greenery. To ensure a pleasant environment for everyone, this is a strictly non-smoking and no-vaping accommodation, and pets are not allowed.
For a seamless stay, the property provides eco-labeled dishwashing liquid and organic verbena shower gel/shampoo. Guests are kindly asked to maintain the accommodation's safety and environmental standards by not disconnecting the smoke detectors or the controlled ventilation system, and by respecting the household waste sorting guidelines found in the bin room. We also ask that the gate and main house door be closed securely and quietly. Cleaning equipment is provided for your departure; please note that the yellow wipes are washable and should not be discarded.

A wonderful location, smooth check-in and very clean and well appointed property. It was quite easy to communicate with our host.One suggestion...several of the reviews mention on site parking which is not the case. Guests must find their own parking.

We had stayed here 4 years ago and decided on it again because of its wonderful central location and secure parking. It really is a little oasis in the centre of the town. It is very small (which we knew) but nevertheless there is a large comfortable bed in the one small bedroom. However, nothing had been upgraded since our last visit and the fittings and fixtures, especially on the ground floor, are cheap (e.g. faded unlined curtains, flat pack type furniture) and the sofa is now way past its 'sell by date' and is small, saggy and uncomfortable and, and in our view, should urgently be replaced with something larger and more comfortable, especially as it's the only soft seating available. There is a television but only French channels available and in this day and age this is hardly acceptable. Also if you want to do anything other than the most basic of cooking you will be disappointed as there is only a small cheap microwave and a 2 (solid) ring electric hob and very limited cutlery, crockery and cookware. The cooking area - it can't really be classed as a kitchen as such - frustratingly with a bit of thought and outlay could, with some re-jigging, be able to accommodate a small oven and be much improved. Finally, be aware that there are numerous extras over and above the basic rental price including cleaning (extortionate for the size of the place), WiFi and bed linen (and there is no option to bring your own linen). We came away this time thinking it was a bit of a rip-off. We also had some problems with the electric gates which you need to be much nearer than you think to open.
