Every morning we opened the shutters to the view of the spectacular abbey literally across the road. Bayeux is a beautiful city with very friendly and helpful locals. The landlady was exremely helpful and accomodating. With the use of a car it was a perfect location. Even parking turned out to be easy.
Perhaps the fact that the bars seemed to close early BUT the restaurants stayed open later. The accomostion to quote a phrase was "small but beautifully formed".

Great position, sweet apartment complete with all that was needed.
Only the stairs because as we had four pieces of luggage. But after getting to the top of Mont Saint Micheal they were a breeze
