Le P'tit Croissant

The apartment is a lovely, well designed space that is both cosy and spacious. It is located on the heart of Bayeux, with easy access to the local sites and eateries. We enjoyed the locality, and the well stocked kitchen gave us the option to be flexible. The facilities were all in excellent working order. An extra thank you ro our host who shared some recommendations for sight seeing!

The bedroom is a little bit cramped, although that is because the bed is enormous - quite a good reason! Also to be noted that due to the location, the sounds of the bar patrons and delicious smells from the restaurants do carry up into the space, especially if the windows are open.

The flat is very central, and located above a quiet (pedestrian) high street with a well-stocked mini-supermarket close by. The space was very clean and well equipped, nice bathroom with great spacious shower. Beautiful 15th century building, with Michelin starred restaurant adjacent (fully booked up to 3 weeks ahead!).

I hadn't realised that it would be important to give an accurate time of arrival for Pascal to let me in; in the end it was fine, and I can see that the layout (and parking, if needed - I didn't) mean that a personal introduction is helpful. The flat is on the second floor, no lift, so be prepared! Personally I dislike air freshener sticks and always try to remove them while I'm in the room - I don't think they enhance the air quality.
