Beautiful French Provincial decor and very comfortable home. Location was convenient to a short walk toward downtown but in a quiet lovely uarea.

Location great close to market and town. Beds were comfi. Garden very pretty.

The house was damp, with a smell of mold as if it was not ventilated and in use for a while.. In addition the radiators were not working and we spent quite a long time reaching out to the hosts and getting them finally fixed.

location was excellent, close to the old part of Bayeux where we loved walking. There was an excellent small grocery store and a wonderful hamburger place nearby. House garden was spectacular!

The house was absolutely fabulous. Everything had been thought of. Full amenities and more. The property was very clean. Internet was reliable. Parking was in front of house. The garden WOW! (I'd love to see it in July). The house is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bayeux, 2 minutes drive from supermarket. I would like to thank the owners for making my mum's 90th birthday celebration so special.

Bayeux Stay

The house was in a great position with easy walk to the town of Bayeux and shopping centre. It also has a car park out front. The house is also very clean.

The smell of rising damp, the lack of sinks and the clutter of decor. A clothes dryer would have helped.

A pleasant enough stay, though room for some improvements to the property

The garden was very attractive with plenty of seating for both shade and sun. Afficionados of shabby chic would be in heaven here. Kitchen was well eqiupped and clean. Plenty of space and enough crockery to start a shop! Laundry facilities were excellent, though the laundry area in the basement smelt of diesel from the heating tank.

The shower room lacked a basin though it had a toilet. The bathroom had a bath and basin but no toilet. The separate toilet had no basin. These facilities though clean were shabby and in need of total renovation.. There was an unpleasant looking stain on one of the duvet covers, which wasn't nice. The door handle to the smaller bedroom was missing, we found it in the wardrobe. It had been broken and could not be repaired.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, VERY CLEAN AND NEAT PLACE WITH A RELAXING GARDEN , ALL MOD CONS BUT RETAINING ITS FRENCH DECOR AND AMBIANCE, HOST WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND ATTENTIVE. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY- WE THROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE

Could have been excellent

The location was excellent, a short walk to restaurants one way, and supermarket the other way, yet in a very quiet road. The garden was fabulous. Small, but beautifully planted and maintained. Decor was attractive.

I think the owner had forgotten all about us even though I had been in contact just before our trip. We got to the house 10 minutes before the agreed time, and 30 minutes later we were still waiting for Beatrice to arrive! After an SMS and a phone call she apologised and directed us to a key box in the garden. Beatrice asked for our time of departure, and said she would meet us, but again, she failed to appear. No hand basin in the en suite, and no mirror either. Sockets are dangerous, they come away from the wall when you remove the plug. 60 euros cleaning charge seemed very heavy for our three night stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable house and would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent - a quiet residential neighbourhood just 10 minutes walk from the City Centre and cathedral and 5 minutes from the Square St Patrice where the amazing Saturday market takes place. There is also a huge Leclerc supermarket just 2 minutes walk away. The whole house and particularly the kitchen were very well equipped and the owner had even left adapters in electrical sockets for UK electrical items. The garden is amazing!!

It would have been nice to have a washbasin in the shower room.

A prefect fit for our holiday.

A very clean and comfortable house. The location is excellent not only for exploring Bayeaux but other sites in Normandy such as the Landing Beaches. It is only a 10 minute walk into town centre so great for shopping and restaurants and there is a great Supermarket at the end of the road

Excellent séjour de Nouvel An à proximité des plages du débarquement

Grande maison à proximité de tout: 4 minutes d'un hypermarché et 5 minutes du centre ville. Beau jardin dont nous n'avons pas profité vu la saison, mais qui doit être très agréable aux beaux jours. Maison très cosy, bien chauffée, très agréable, on se sent dans une maison "de famille", avec ses livres, ses jeux, son décor, sa vaisselle et ses verres à pied. Gentillesse des loueurs qui avaient mis en place la déco pour notre nouvel an guirlande et petit sapin. L'emplacement est IDEAL pour visiter Bayeux et ses trois musées et bien sûr les plages du Débarquement: nous avons passé une semaine de rêve, UN GRAND MERCI !

des détails: très bon accueil téléphonique à l'arrivée, par contre pas de contact au départ: j'aurais aimé savoir comment laisser volets et chauffage avant de partir, j'ai eu un gentil message alors que nous étions déjà en route. La télécommande de la TV est un peu poussive (pb de pile?), le lave linge est au sous sol, je n'ai pas osé m'en servir sans mode d'emploi. Les couverts ne sont pas en rapport avec l'abondance de vaisselle, il manque au moins quelques couteaux et des ciseaux qui coupent ! pas d'éclairage de la hotte de cuisine ?
