Amazing!

This place was amazing! Everything about it was fantastic. The location is literally 20 steps away from the cathedral and close to everything. The owner was very attentive and responded right away with any questions I had. Great value! I would stay here any time as it was perfect.

The stairs leading up to the bedroom are super shallow and I had to ensure I was careful but other than that it was great! Don't stay here if you have mobility issues as it won't work for you at all.

Really nice place right in the beautiful centre of Bayeux.

Nice apartment in an old building with its own unique character. Great location near Bayeux cathedral. We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Moving around takes a bit of care because of a low support beam that requires bowing one's head when passing, but that is easy to get accustomed to. Some details (loose toilet roll holder; toilet that doesn't stop flushing sometimes) require some attention from the owner, but these really are minor nuisances.

Great little apartment

The location was great, very near the Cathedral. The decor was cute, the kitchen was well equipped.

The steps to the sleeping loft were hard to maneuver and we needed a lamp for light you can turn on/off after you are in bed. My husband had to duck his head as not to hit his head on the ceiling beams in the sitting area.

Exceptional

Loved the medieval modern mix. Was funky and functional with every detail considered. Good check in instructions and the location was perfect being in the heart of Bayeux. And it truly was amazing how well everything had been renovated given the uniqueness of space and situation.

The bed wasn't great but the mattress would need to be soft to lift up three flights of spiral stairs so completely understandable.

Superb

Accommodation was right in the centre of Bayeaux behind the cathedral. We were able to leave our car at a nearby parking space and enjoy this beautiful town. The apartment is small, with low ceilings but it was clean, comfortable and good value for money. We didn't need to meet our hosts but they communicated with us via the booking.com website and we had no issues. We'd definitely book again.

Location was great. Authentic

Low beams had to watch when standing up. Being over 60 this place was not really for us. The stairs up to the bedroom were very small in width and actually when my husband came down them he fell. I was very frightened and actually went down them backwards. Lots of flies inside when we arrived could not find any spray.

It must be noted that the appartment is absulutly not for the golden age people. Thare are many nerow and spiral stairs, very dangerous and uncomfortable for golden age adaults.

Great location, mediocre stay

Great location right next to the cathedral in old town Bayeux. Easy check in to a bright loft apartment.

If you have trouble with stairs, I do not recommend choosing this apartment. The bed is located on the second level of a steep spiral staircase. Also, the apartment is advertised for three people but we found that to be a bit snug. The communication with the host regarding check out could have been better, we had cleaning staff in the apartment when we returned from breakfast impatiently waiting for us to clear our things.

it’s a cute place to stay but not if you have mobility issues. very low ceilings 6’ and very windy stairs to get up as well as going to bed. they had everything there that you needed.

Cute place. Great location. But must navigate narrow winding staircase to get to the 3rd floor.

I liked the quirkiness of this cute little space. I wasn't cooking but the tiny kitchenette looked well equipped. The location is dynamite, right there in the middle of town near the cathedral.

The entry area was dark and dirty. No one told me there was a switch there to light up the narrow winding staircase, so I had to navigate it in the dark. There is no elevator. I didn't care for all the mops, cleaning supplies, etc in plain sight. This is NOT a place for guests who might have difficulty dragging suitcases up and down the spiral staircase for 3 floors. That should be noted in the description. And you also have to go up and down a narrow spiral staircase to get to the bed.

Ceiling and structure beams very low. We must have bumped our heads at least half a dozen times. Futon in living room very uncomfortable and non ergonomic.

Great location

We had a great deal of difficulty opening the lock box for the keys - a good samatarian helped us. I slept on the "sofabed" which did not pull out and was very uncomfortable.

Definitely recommend! Unique, convenient, historic building, nicely updated, charming location.

Our host, Thierry, was super communicative before our arrival and made it easy to locate the key and the home. It was a wonderful pleasant expereince and so cool to stay in such an old building in the best location ever!

I personally didn't mind, but if you're tall you will want to be aware the door is short and some areas of the ceiling are shorter than average. Also there is a narrow winding stairway to get to the front door so it was a little tricky to get our suitcases upstairs and back down...but it is truly all part of the charm of this location.

Lovely and clean .

More information should be given ,when booking ,about the spiral staircase. VERY difficult and dangerous. Would need to access bathroom at night down via the stairs. Treads too small for placing feet . Thankfully there was a sofa bed downstairs as we didn't feel safe using the stairs. It should be made aware of on booking .

Best place to rent in Bayeux! Grab this spot if you can, it is a whole apartment for rent in a historical building, it really makes it feel like your 2nd home. Everything you could need is here grab some stuff at a local store and cook some dinner on the provided kitchen in room. Very private perfect for a family as there is a loft on the 2nd floor and a futon below.

L'emplacement est idéal dans le centre historique. L'appartement est très douillet et bien équipé. Beaucoup de cachet avec l'escalier en colimaçon en pierre.

Un peu petit pour une famille de 2 adultes et 2 ados, mais comme nous étions très souvent sortis, ce n'est pas non plus un défaut important.

stilvolle dachwohnung in der altstadt

schöner kann man kaum wohnen als in dieser gemütlichen dachwohnung in herzen von bayeux. gut aufgeteilt in hellen wohnbereich und extra schlafbereich ein stockwerk höher unterm dach. kathedrale, bäcker, cafes und restaurants um die ecke, bahnhof ca. 15 min zu fuß.

die Wendeltreppe ins schlafzimmer unterm dach ist sehr steil. leider konnte ich die wohnung nicht abschließen, da der wohnungsschlüssel geklemmt hat.

Emplacement tout près des commodités ( cathédrale, restaurants, commerce, sites historiques et à qq km des plages de débarquement etc) et fonctionnalité ( appartement bien équipé avec l’essentiel ). Réactivité des propriétaires.

Très bel emplacement

L'emplacement est vraiment top. On ne peut être plus prêt du centre ville. Des places de parking sont gratuites au bout de la rue. Celle ci est très calme: aucun bruit la nuit.

Pour 4, c est un peu juste. L espace est très petit et il ne fait pas être grand sous peine de se cogner aux poutres.

Séjour trés agréable dans une ville plein de charme

Emplacement près de la cathédrale, dans le centre ville et près du musée. Possibilité de se garer facilement et gratuitement.

Les chaises hautes de la table sont peut-être à remplacer bientot.
