A lovely well appointed apartment right near all sights

Highly recommended and a great spot to base yourself to explore the Normandy coast.

Location is right in the middle of town and close proximity to supermarket and restaurants. Host provided a bottle of cider which was very welcomed after a long day driving. Great recommendation by the host on restaurants, so good we went back the next night. Free parking was included.

Ben welcome us to the apartment upon arrival. He was friendly, warm and extremely helpful. The apple cider was wonderful and delicious, it was a wonderful start to a beautiful stay in Bayeux.

Just perfect! Love this spot. Responsive and helpful host, and they really thought everything out and made it so easy to be there. Easy walk to restaurants. Bed super comfy. Quiet. Good light. Ready to go back!!

A nice, roomy apartment in the center of historic Bayeux

The location was central to everything that you would want to enjoy Bayeux. It’s an easy half block walk to the Main Street with many restaurants, shopping and a grocery store. It’s also close to the location where all of the D-Day tours start and near the tourist office and Cathedral. The apartment is in an historically old building but has been renovated and has a lovely new bath and kitchen. The apartment is roomy and has most everything you need kitchen-wise. There was free parking and our hosts were friendly,knowledgeable and eager to make sure that our stay was successful. It was a quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. I would recommend this apartment in the historic old city center to anyone.

Beautiful Bayeux.

Had a wonderful stay. Apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you would need. Emma the host was so helpful. We arrived early from Paris and needed somewhere to leave our luggage prior to check in, while we went on Dday tour, Emma offered to look after our luggage at her house and when we returned she had them all in the apartment ready for us. Excellent service.

Great location right off Main Street

It’s a great location roomy with small kitchen and just enough kitchen utensils.

No sheet for the bed just a comforter. Sorry but I like a clean soft top sheet. Roomy. Good shower, good communication with host.

Wonderful stay!

The location was excellent. The appartment was beautifully presented and very comfortable.

It was hot while we were there. The appartment would have benefited by having a desk fan available for each bedroom if needed.

Well located in the centre of town. Easy parking nearby.

It was quite tricky to find as the sign was very small. The PIN code for the key box was different from the one stated on Booking.com but the owner arrived quickly to let us in.

Superb apartment, charming character

Host was so nice, really helpful, great welcome to the property. Shower wasn't working properly on day 2 of our stay, they changed the whole fitting by the time we got back in the evening - exceptional response! Apartment has so much character, beautifully appointed and very clean and tidy. Superb base from which to explore Bayeux and surroundings. Highly recommend!

The apartment’s medieval feel was wonderful and Ben and his daughter greeted us warmly.

No breakfast was offered. The building was centuries old but designed beautifully and comfortable with all the basics. I loved the bedding and wished I could have remained there longer than two nights. The apartment was steps away from restaurants and shops. I highly recommend staying there!

Great apartment, great location, responsive host: Recommended!

Emma was very responsive on checkin day, first via email and then on WhatsApp, so we felt comfortable that we would be able to get into the apartment when we arrived. This is a big plus when arriving after a long trip. The location is **fantastic** with a Carrefour City grocery very nearby. The tapestry, river, and cathedral are close, as are many restaurants, and we also walked to the train station and the Normandy museum (which are within 15-20 minutes, both pleasant walks). We had a few questions during our stay, and Emma was very responsive, which was great. The location was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The living room / kitchen area were modern and comfortable, with lots of light from the windows. Plenty of good lighting in all rooms. The walk-in shower was large and comfortable. We will happily recommend this apartment to our friends and relatives.

Great central location with parking extremely close by. Easy to walk to the centre and restaurants - literally 1 minute! The apartment was well fitted and very comfortable with a large walk in shower and a separate WC. There were tea and coffee provided.

Not easy to arrive by car, building very dilapidated, musty smell in the house

Good location, it’s in the city center

1. It's difficult to get there by car. There are many pedestrian-only roads or one-way roads. Google's navigation route is wrong and we made a big detour. The house is next to the free parking lot. But there was no parking space when we arrived at around 8pm. 2. Watch out the entrance door to the building! After I entered the password, I turned the door lock, because the door lock was not sensitive and was very close to the wall, my thumb rubbed off a large piece of skin and bleed a lot. For the rest of my vacation I couldn’t go swimming in the sea. 3. The house is in a building that is still being renovated. The stairs of the building are dilapidated and there is no elevator. There is a strong musty smell or decoration smell in the house. We opened the window to ventilate at night, but there was a restaurant in front of a room and the living room faces the parking lot, so the air was not fresh and the smell didn’t disperse the next day. Also, there were a lot of noises of motorcycles and cars arriving and leaving at night with windows opened.

We really liked the apartment and loved Bayeux and the Tapestry.The town has a lovely atmosphere.

The apartment was very central and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and we felt at home. Pleasant view from the windows. The heating was appreciated as the weather was a little chilly for May.

The booking stated free parking but we had to buy a blue disc to display in the car to park in the nearby car park. The property was at the end of a very narrow alleyway impassable by car so we had to go round a one-way system 3 times to find the way round the back. An explanation of this on booking would have been extremely useful, please tell the owner. Also there was no mirror in my bedroom (the double bed).

Uitstekende locatie. Midden in het centrum van Bayeux met gratis parkeren voor de deur. Centrum/ restaurant binnen paar minuten te bewandelen. Verder is Bayeux uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor alle dday stranden en musea in de omgeving. Appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Modern, schoon en ruim.

De centrale ligging ging in het centrum

De handdouche was lam, het was er zeer gehorig met name de onderburen. Harde muziek, hard praten. Het trappenhuis met name de leuning. De voordeur waar veel tocht onderdoor kwam.
