Excellent host. Would stay here again!

The location was right on the main street and so easy to get around and tour. Wash machine and full kitchen was super handy.

A little noisy at night due to pubs near by but once windows were shut you couldn't hear the noise.

Wonderful place to stay

Loved the location, right in the main area where all the restaurants are and the meeting point for the guide. Host very accommodating, let us leave our suitcases for the last day. Nice apartment.

A little challenging at times because it’s on two floors, might be hard for a family with kids or elderly person but was fine for us. Ceilings are low in the upstairs bedroom because of roof line, we are tall so had to watch our heads

Beautiful town and nice apartment.Friendly service and very welcoming everywhere we went!

We loved the apartment and location near restaurants. Our host was friendly and helpful. The apartment has been totally renovated and is nicely equipped and furnished.

It is on floors three and four with a set of spiral staircases in an original home built in 1600’s. Beams and doorways are low, as well. So those with physical challenges like myself may find it difficult to manage. We left our bags in the living area to reduce carrying them.

The apartment was great. Fantastic location and very comfortable. Our host was most helpful with a few questions we had. Great location for Normandy D-day sites.

The unit had a washer but not a dryer. After five days in Paris we planned on doing laundry there. Minor inconvenience. We used a drying rack in the unit. All good.

Location was perfect! Anne Claire met us early since we arrived well before check in time,and was very accommodating and flexible.

Small Village Charm

Excellent location. Very walkable to restaurants, shops and historic sites. Property was bright and cheery.

Entrance of property had a musty order. Also, better description of the spiral staircase should be mentioned. It was tight and low in a couple of areas which made it difficult to carry a large suitcase to the second floor. Compared to other VRBOs, property was less equipped with paper towels, tea and coffee. A small welcome basket would have been a nice touch.

We had a great stay!

The owner went out of her way to meet us outside the city center since they closed off they street that evening and walk us to her appartment. She also helped us with our luggage. The location of the apartment was excellent!

Exceptional property in the heart of Bayeux with a great host!

This was the most amazing stay! The apartment was in the center of town. You literally step out onto one of the main streets for shopping and restaurants in Bayeux. Parking is right around the corner. It was clean, nicely furnished and equipped. The wifi worked great, and the bed was very comfortable as long as you like a firm mattress (we do). The best part was our host! We had some luggage issues, and she did everything she could do to help solve our problem. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The outside noise from the bar across the street was very loud, but that's not a hit against the apartment. It's just something to be aware of.

Le Cafe Cuillere was only a few steps away. Excellent fresh ground coffee and pastries.

A few coffee pods for machine would have been nice. There were no directions to use coffee machine OR washing machine. A small amount of shower essentials would also have helped. To many stairs for elderly or people with leg issues.

Apartment is modern and well appointed with everything you would need for a short or longer stay. Nice modern shower. Very clean. Location excellent central for Bayeux and touring the area.

Lots of stairs. It is very noisy in street outside, however you can hardly hear it when you go upstairs to bed or go and join in! Entrance is not very inviting but once in lovely apartment.

The apartment is conveniently location on a pedestrian street with paid parking available near by. The apartment is up winding steps, just like many places in older buildings. The bedroom is up another set of steps and that's where the shower and a separate toilet are located. There also is a toilet near the living room/kitchen. We found the apartment very comfortable and convenient for our three-night stay. Our host provided restaurant recommendations which we appreciated. Do make reservations though, as these places are popular!

We found it difficult to turn on the wall heaters. Written directions would have been helpful.

Location is excellent. It was spotlessly clean. Hosts gave really good recommendations for restaurants and we're very accommodating. We had a minor issue with closing a window and they sorted it our straight away even though it was late evening.

This apartment is on 2 levels (kitchen, living space, toilet on 1 floor and bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet on floor above) and located on the main street in Bayeux for bars and restaurants and within easy walking distance to the cathedral and tapestry. Nicely decorated and good facilities. Comfortable bed. Excellent communication from the hostess and she provided us with loads of helpful info re parking, restaurants etc.

Lovely apartment, modern facilities but an old building with lots of character and nicely restored features. Great central location in the heart of the old town. Short walk to cathedral and museums. We had a great couple of days here.

Amazing host, excellent location, well equipped kitchen

Located in the center of Bayeux! So many restaurants/cafés around. Grocery was literally the same block from the APT. Host was awesome. She gave us so many info ahead. The APT layout was clean & it’s pretty cute, made us feel like how French people actually live in the city! Kitchen was well equipped.

It gets very hot in the APT so we had to crack the window open at night. Since it’s in the city center, it can get pretty loud until midnight. Maybe if there was a fan, we could’ve shut the window since it’s soundproof.

Loved this property! Amazing apartment.

Beautiful updated duplex apartment right in the heart of everything. Owner was extremely responsive to all messages. Cider was left for us as a welcome gift. Kitchen was fully equipped. Street could be noisy at night given the perfect location with all the restaurants still open late, however once you close the windows there is nothing, no noise. Windows must be soundproof! I felt like I lived in Bayeux. Very comfortable with a cool vibe.

There was only a washing machine, no dryer so hard to do a wash when you're staying two nights and you have to air dry everything.
