The property was cozy and the hosts were incredible. They made sure we had a wonderful stay and the amenities were fantastic. Not to mention there was beautiful garden in the back and everything was quick walk. Would highly recommend.

A hidden gem

The house was spacious, clean, comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was supplied, including a washer and dryer. The backyard was amazing! The hospitality is why I'll be coming back. The most wonderful thoughtful people you could ever meet. It made the trip!

Wonderful hosts of this comfortable property in an excellent location to tour Normandie's treasures.

The generosity and positive concern about our enjoyment from Marcel and Agnes, our hosts were truly exceptional. They welcomed us and provided a detailed tour of the property, maps of the area, detailed operating instructions for the property and appliances, plus Champagne. Marcel drove us on a tour of his home town of Bayeux, of which he was rightly proud. He made us reservations at their favorite restaurant, and it was a superb meal. They were terrific hosts! As a base of operations for our Mont St Michel and D-Day beaches tours it could not have been better.

May 23 weekend stay

This house has everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Marcel and Agnes are lovely hosts. Bayeux was central to our planned activities and is a lovely French town. I would recommend a group of friends or a couple of families to stay in this property.

Lovely house in a great location, welcoming hosts, would happily return.

Great location, close to town and shops. Super helpful hosts Marcel and Agnès. Beautiful large private garden, nice clean house, quiet at night. Loved the little extras like a welcome bottle of champagne, beers in the fridge, local produces (caramels, calvados, butter biscuits :), coffee capsules for the Tassimo machine, universal adaptor, wireless speaker.

Everything you could ask for in a vacation home in Normandy.

The location is prefect for traveling around Normandy. The family who owns the house was great and would definitely go back. The owners took us on a tour of Normandy free of charge. The town of Bayeux is a quite and cute city with plenty of resources and activities. The house easily accommodated 6 of us and had a beautiful back yard. Highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to Normandy.

We had a wonderful time.

We turned up in the middle of the night and had messed up part of the booking, but Agnes and Marcel could not have been more welcoming! Everything was clean and new. Marcel has done all the beautiful woodwork himself, so it's like staying in a work of art.

A very small thing - some larger mugs would have been good (for us tea drinkers). But honestly, that's nit-picking!

Superb base for exploring Normandy

this property is immaculate inside and out. The living space is fantastic as are the bedrooms, all with aircon. the property also has a fabulous garden with various seating spaces, a BBQ and games. The owners Marvel and Agnès could not have been more helpful to us during our stay. Highly recommended.

An absolutely brilliant stay. Thank you!

The facilities for a family with teenage children were amazing. The ping pong table, darts, soccer ball and goal were a hit with our kids. Terrific facilities for BBQs and outdoor eating. Inside the home, the property had all amenities, including a washing machine and dryer, multiple air conditioning units, heaters and a well equipped kitchen. The hosts were so attentive and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and its history. We will be back!

Lovely garden with games to play, very friendly and welcoming owners, great location with great bakers a short walk down the road, not great for weight loss though !

Perhaps a little more room to put the food you buy in the cupboards but it’s hard to think of anything to criticise ! Love to go back !

Marcel and Agnes are delightful! Such wonderful people! They made us feel totally comfortable, like we were family. Marcel and his wife went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we did not want for anything. The house is super clean, comfortable and centrally located. Bayeux is a gem!
