I really enjoyed my stay at Carmen Sylva ground floor Studio F3. The studio is in a quiet residential area with a mix of houses and flats, and free on-street parking right outside. The building has three ground-floor apartments, and Studio F3 offers ample space for 1-2 people. The open-plan lounge/kitchen area feels comfortable and practical, with two very comfortable recliner chairs and a smart TV loaded with apps like Netflix (just remember to log out before you leave). The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of essentials for cooking, including a ceramic electric hob and electric oven. The hot water gets very hot, which was great. There’s also a washing machine in the studio (bring your own detergent). The bathroom is a decent size with an electric shower (note: the shower cubicle itself is quite small), a heated towel rail, bath towels and a hand towel provided, plus a wall cabinet for toiletries. The sink water also gets very hot. The bedroom has a double bed, but space is tight it’s easiest to get into the bed from the bottom rather than the sides. There’s a clothes rail, drawers for storage, an iron, and a small ironing board. A handy portable electric fan is stored in the ottoman. Location is excellent. The street is quiet, yet you’re right on a main bus route with the bus stop literally outside the door. The beach is only about 100 yards away super convenient! Turning right out of the garden and then right onto Mostyn Avenue gives you easy access to a meditation centre, Co-op, a couple of other shops, a laundrette, a micro pub, and a restaurant. The whole area felt clean and tidy. Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located studio perfect for a beach break or a relaxed stay. I’d happily recommend it and would consider returning.

The only minor drawbacks were that the shower cubicle is quite small (it works fine but feels a bit tight), and the space beside the double bed is narrow, so it’s easier to get in and out from the foot of the bed rather than the side. That’s really it — nothing major, and both issues are common in compact studios.

Free parking's and next to the wonderful Wus chinese restaurant. Very clean with all the amenities you need, although could do with some upgrades. Great communication with host

Shower cubicle was so small to manoeuvre in, could be bigger. Could feel the springs in matress. Shower was blocked upon first use and flooded on floor outside. And no heating in bedroom. Why say beachfront when it's not? Description did state 100 metres from beach, but that's not beach front in my opinion. Should state 'short walk from the beach'.
