They are crooks or incompetent at best. Avoid at all costs.
The absolute cretins didn’t tell me that my room wasn’t fit for purpose on the days I was booked in for I got to the property and there was no key in the lock box or message to explain anything whatsoever! The owner didn’t answer the phone on the night but has since been responding as I am still awaiting a refund . Booking.com aren’t much help either. Long story short I had to book in with Travelodge at the shortest of notice, resulting in a bill twice the amount I had paid for the original room when booking two weeks prior. I’m reticent rate a stay when I never actually stayed there. They also had the cheek to check me out the following day and send me a message asking me to leave the room nicely. Well would have should have could have…
I didn’t even get to stay in the bloody place. What a joke:

DARLINGTON LEVY NOOK 10
Lovely comfortable home from home, with everything needed for a very comfortable and relaxing weekend!! Diane the Property Manager, and Annemarie, the Housekeeping Manager, both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and content - even coming out after hours to adjust the heating for us, due to it being 29 degrees C in Darlington!! Would definitely visit again soon, and recommend to family and friends!!
Not a complaint, just a suggestion: Mirror and toilet roll holder required in bathroom; Draining rack and chopping board required in kitchen; Glasses required in apartment, not only wine glasses; Side tables or laptrays required in lounge.
