Stone Moor Lodge Justin's Peak District Base Camp

It was in a quiet location, easy to get around on public transport and some lovely walks in the area. The facilities at the lodge were great, everything you could need for a stay including a full kitchen. The beds were comfy, the shower was lovely & the little outdoor space was great too. Justin was a wonderful host, always easy to contact with any questions and took time to explain to us about a couple of walks in the local area for us to do including sending us a little video of how to access one of the walks.

Everything. We were up for the snooker in Sheffield and wanted to stay within easy travel of the city without actually staying there. The accommodation is in the host's garden but has its own access. Everything was very clean and the host had provided tea, coffee, honey, butter and every condiment you could imagine. Despite being small, it didn't feel cramped. The host, having discovered we were attending the snooker, was quick to assist with recommendations for parking and food.

A window blind in the bathroom would have been useful (despite not being overlooked, you might feel a little vulnerable with the bathroom light on). There really wasn't anything else to fault, we wouldn't hesitate to return.
