We were hoping for more

It is a large apartment with a big TV (which we did not use). The upstairs bedroom with beams is very nice. Communication with the manager/owner was good.

The apartment was not well cleaned and not very well maintained which is obviously a big minus. The upstairs bed is creaking loudly and need a new mattress.

Fantastic location but industrial decor showing signs of age

The location was perfect, just five mins walk in different directions to the train station, to the historic center and to a well-stocked Lidl. The surrounding area is very quiet. The apartment is a duplex and very large. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped - you can actually cook. The host provided generous tea and coffeemaking supplies. There is a gigantic flat screen TV; Netflix is free but you need an account for the other streaming services. I never met the host Marcello but he always promptly answered my WhatsApps and either solved the problems I encountered or tried to.

The industrial decor might have been nice when new but it is aging poorly. The modern surfaces are unforgiving and show scratches, dinks, stains and watermarks, even after cleaning. The dining table is set into the wall and pretty useless. One side has uncomfortable swing seats that block the oven door and are perched above a step. Seats on the other side face the kitchen and are squeezed in by a wood burning stove. The living room really needs a table that can be moved around so that you can watch TV and eat/drink something at the same time. You have to be careful where you walk as there are different levels and especially when coming down the stairs. The host wasn't sure if the washing machine worked; he suggested using the coin-operated laundromat nearby which is open 24h. The apartment wasn't dirty but I had to do some light housekeeping before I felt comfortable. No other past guests have complained about cleanliness so I guess I was just unlucky. The host very kindly refunded the cleaning fee without my asking for it.

Excelente ubicación cerca de la estación y del centro de la ciudad, para moverse cómodamente. Departamento super cómodo, con todo lo necesario para una estancia familiar sin preocupaciones. Sin dudas volveré!

Un piacevole week end a Piacenza

Ci siamo trovati molto bene! L’appartamento è bellissimo, spazioso e dotato di tutti i comfort necessari. La posizione è comoda, non lontano dal centro, il che rende facile raggiungere i principali punti di interesse. Esperienza davvero positiva anche grazie alla disponibilità e gentilezza del proprietario. Consigliatissimo!

Sehr empfehlenswertes Appartement in Innenstadtlage

Ein großes Appartement in Innenstadtlage, sehr gut ausgestattet, insbesondere auch die Küche. Parkplatz in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus ca. 100m entfernt im Preis inkludiert. Zum Ein-Ausladen kann man aber unmittelbar vor der Wohnung anhalten. Fahrradabstellmöglichkeit im Innenhof, der nachts abgeschlossen ist. Ruhig. Es gibt einen Bäcker und LIDL in circa 400 m Entfernung sowie kleinere Läden in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter über WhatsApp funktioniert gut.

Die Wohnung enthält unnötige Schwellen und Stolperfallen; enges Treppenhaus. Für Gehbehinderte eher ungeeignet, für alle anderen aber eine Empfehlung.

Zentrale Lage und gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

Gute Lage und modern eingerichtet. Es war sauber und wir wurden gut betreut.

Man muss wirklich vorsichtig sein, denn die Konstruktion der Treppe ist etwas heikel, vor allem nachts, wenn man im Dunkeln zur Toilette muss. Das Badezimmer könnte etwas aufgefrischt und alle Armaturen entkalkt werden.

Ótima opção em Piacenza

O apartamento é grande e acomodou uma família de 4 pessoas (casal e 2 filhas adultas). Cozinha e banheiro equipados. Limpo, amplo e ventilado. Ar condicionado que supre todos os ambientes. Wi-Fi funcionou muito bem. Localização é boa, perto da estação e a poucos minutos do centro histórico. Estacionamento incluído, foi de grande utilidade para nós, apesar de ficar a 5 minutos a pé. Numa próxima ida a Piacenza, certamente consideraríamos como opção de alojamento. Comunicação ótima com o proprietário pelo WhatsApp

Ceck-in poco trasparente con terza parte non menzionata

Appartamento di buone dimensioni all'interno di una piccola corte, ben ristrutturato anche se manca di qualche finitura e mediamente attrezzato, qualche accessorio in più andrebbe previsto. Più adatto a 2 che a 4 persone. Parcheggio non vicino all'appartamento, ma gratuito e al coperto quindi molto apprezzato. Ben pulito internamente, migliorabile la pulizia fuori dalla porta d'ingresso.

NOTA BENE: Il ceck-in viene fatto tramite una terza parte, non menzionata precedentemente, che richiederà foto di voi e dei vostri documenti, inoltre per pagare la tassa di soggiorno vi verranno richiesti i dati della vostra carta di credito e una strana autorizzazione in cui consentite al proprietario dell'appartamento di prelevare dalla carta futuri pagamenti (di che futuri pagamenti parliamo?). Dovrete firmare un contratto dove dichiarate di conoscere il regolamento condominiale che però non viene fornito. Avrei disdetto per quanto sopra, ma l'ho saputo solo a cancellazione gratuita terminata. Però sicuramente incide sulla valutazione. Per ciò che riguarda l'appartamento persiane alle finestre non del tutto oscuranti e per chi è abituato a dormire al buio può essere un problema.

Buona sistemazione, ma qualche dettaglio da limare.

Il gestore è gentilissimo e disponibilissimo.

L'appartamento ha diverse cose da aggiustare. Non ci è piaciuto doverci preparare da soli il secondo letto come fossimo a casa nostra, arrivati dopo 5 ore di viaggio. Mancano armadi per disporre gli abiti, ma per una notte sola ne abbiamo fatto a meno senza problemi.

Geweldige locatie en fijn ook dat er een plek op de parkeerplaats is inbegrepen bij de overnachtingen. Met het centrum op loopafstand, en net buiten de gesloten zone, is dit een ideale uitvalsplek om Piacenza te verkennen en om wat dagtripjes te doen.

Tolle Unterkunft!

Sehr gute Lage, man kommt zu Fuß super überall hin. Die Wohnung ist wirklich großzügig geschnitten und sehr sauber. Es war trotz offenen Fenstern wirklich ruhig. Marcello ist sehr nett und die Kommunikation sowie der Check-In total einfach.

Das Bad ist etwas provisorisch und die Dusche könnte eine Auffrischung vertagen - aber alles in einem wirklich angemessenen Rahmen!
