It was nice and modern for a dormitory. Bathrooms were well equipped with everything I needed and space was all in all great for sharing. Great way to meet people and make friends. Late check out was a great bonus

The staff didn’t explain any rules (which is important for sharing) they also had other peoples stuff on my side and the space didn’t seem fairly distributed since someone was there longer than me but it’s still unfair since I paid my fair share. The system was offline when I arrived so I couldn’t get a key card but they were able to assist 24hrs

Having to leave early! I extended my stay and then had to fly out for work for an impromptu gig - I am sad I missed out on an extra couple nights in my cosy space on Kloof street!

A warm and wonderful stay

Absolutely faultless - the best hostel I've stayed at. All the staff were exceptional, but a special shout out to Richard and Chris. These guys especially made it a sweet stay; so warm, friendly and helpful ❣️ The location was ideal, premises immaculate and exceedingly clean, great facilities and very nice vibe. Everything was wonderful 👍😊

Brilliant stay.

The cleanliness of the facilities was perfect. The staff was very friendly too and the location pf the place was nearby to everythingwe needed.

Wish the rooms had more cupboard space to be able to hang up clothes. Having clothes in the suitcase for a few days was not ideal and sharing a shelf with another romomate didn't give us enough space to unpack.

Rather stay somewhere else

Completely unaccommodating and unwilling to assist with trivial guest matters. The rooms are hot and unventilated. The staff talk about their guests behind their backs. When it comes to them owing you money, they will duck, dodge and dive and make it your problem. They owe me a full refund and are now making it my issue, instead of resolving the issue themselves. At this rate, I hope I get my refund by Christmas.

Great Hostel in the center of Cape Town!

For a Hostel this was a great place! It was absolutely clean, the beds in the private rooms are HUGE and super comfortable. The room itself is quite small, the dorms from what I could see as well. The balcony’s are right on Kloof Street, so as you can expect some noise during the night as it is one of the main nightlife streets. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

The best Stay I’ve ever had!

I have stayed any many Hostels in all of my Travels, and this is my 3rd visit to Cape Town, however SweetStay brought an entire new level of expectations! This is certainly luxury at super affordable prices! Their tours were super well organised, staff were extremely helpful and friendly and ensured I was comfortable for the duration of my stay. The tours itself were amazing and super cheap in comparison to other tour operators in Cape Town. The entire place was super clean, and extreme attention to detail. The bathrooms are super private and modern, always kept clean, shampoo, conditioner, soap, gown, towel and slippers all provided by the hostel for free! The outdoor deck has an amazing hot tub and pool area including a BBQ area! Always risky booking a new place but this accommodation has blown my mind! I have pre booked for my visit in December 😃

방이 에어컨이 없어서 낮에는 많이 더웠어요 ㅜㅜ 저녁쯔음부터 다시 선선해져서 창문 열어놓고, 잘때는 유리창을 다 닫아도 덥지 않았스니다. :)

Ele fica bem no centro, perto de restaurants, supermercado, Lions Head, TM, A equipe foi bem atenciosa. As instalações parecem ser novas. O banheiro é compartilhado mas estava sempre muito limpo, assim como a cozinha.

O ruim da localização é o barulho. Eu fiquei no final de semana, e dá pra ouvir as pessoas conversando na rua, música alta, carros.. o movimento todo.

Das Personal ist großartig! Alle sind super hilfsbereit, freundlich und geben dir das Gefühl zuhause zu sein. Es ist sehr familiär und jede Rückfrage wird gerne beantwortet und spontane Ideen werden auch gerne als gemeinschaftliche Aktivitäten umgesetzt. Alle Räumlichkeiten sind sehr sauber. Küche und Bäder werden mehrmals täglich gereinigt. Die Schlafzimmer einmal täglich inkl. frisches Bettzeug und Handtuch. Wirklich ein großartiger Service! Das Frühstück beinhaltet drei verschiedene Müslisorten, Milch, Joghurt, Honig, braunes Toast, Speck, Rührei, Würstchen, Obst (bei uns Wassermelone und Erdbeeren) und Kaffee. Da im SweetStay Alkoholverbot herrscht, ist es kein Partyhostel und bringt daher auch eine super entspannte Atmosphäre mit sich. Ideal für digital Nomads oder die, die nicht (mehr) täglich Party machen wollen.

Freundliches Hostel mit modernen Zimmern – kleine Details könnten verbessert werden

Die Ankunft und der Check-in verliefen völlig problemlos, das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr entgegenkommend – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Zimmer scheinen neu zu sein und machen einen gepflegten Eindruck. Wir waren zu zweit in einem Vierbettzimmer mit einer großen Fensterfront, was den Raum schön hell und offen wirken ließ. Das Bad war in Ordnung – sauber und funktional, ohne besondere Highlights.

Die Betten waren zwar gemütlich, aber ein kleines Leselicht an jedem Bett wäre praktisch gewesen. Auch verschließbare Schränke, an denen man ein eigenes Schloss anbringen kann, wären ein Pluspunkt für mehr Sicherheit. Das Frühstück habe ich nicht ausprobiert, da die Frühstückszeiten von 9:30 bis 11:30 Uhr deutlich zu spät angesetzt sind – besonders, wenn der Check-out bereits um 10:00 Uhr erfolgt. Wer morgens abreist, hat somit kaum die Möglichkeit, das Frühstück überhaupt zu nutzen. Insgesamt aber ein nettes Hostel mit gutem Service und Potenzial, wenn an den kleinen organisatorischen Details noch etwas angepasst wird.
