I spent over two months at CURIOCITY, and what started as just a stay quickly became one of the most unforgettable chapters of my life. This place isn’t just a hostel — it’s home, filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of people who leave a mark on your heart forever. Lucas — wow. Where do I even begin? From the first day, his kindness, patience, and genuine care made me feel like family. We became such good friends, and every day around him felt lighter and brighter. He’s the kind of person who makes everyone feel special — the soul of CURIOCITY. Lucas doesn’t just do his job; he lives it with heart and authenticity. If there was ever a “Best Staff Member in the World” award, he’d win it without a doubt. Then there’s Cessions (Mr. C) — the heartbeat of laughter! A true comedian at heart, always bringing joy to everyone around him. No matter the day, he’ll find a way to make you smile. Bosso!! Beatrice — what a force! Her hard work and dedication are incredible. She never stops moving, always making sure everything runs perfectly, and she does it all with grace and a warm smile. Ismael — such a peaceful and kind soul. Just being around him brings calm energy. His presence is quiet, but it speaks volumes. Each of them, in their own unique way, turned my long stay into something magical. Every morning coffee, every shared laugh, every late-night chat — all wow moments that I’ll carry with me. CURIOCITY is not just a place I stayed at — it’s a place that stays with me. And this isn’t goodbye… I’ll be coming back soon. ❤️

I felt secure, made use of the Bootleggers down stairs and could walk to the destination I needed to or use the my citi bus. The wifi was also very fast and reliable. My roommate was courteous and we got on amicably.

It was not very clean unfortunately. Long term guests made themselves at home in terms of fridge occupancy, dishes or cooking left unattended and personal items permanent fixtures in communal bathroom.

The staff was helpful and efficient, and made sure that my stay was good.

Nothing coz I never slept there or have breakfast there I wasn't comfortable to share a room with 7 people that I don't know The property looks very beautiful the staff good

I think on the booking.com they should be more clear about how you are going to stay after the booking I was coming from school n I wanted to do my school work but I couldn't do it coz of the noise people coming in and out of the room I only find out that I will be sharing with 7 people after I've paid and you don't get a refund that's the bad part to it

People beneath me having hard sex screaming at 4am for an hour Room mate on my floor blasting soca music while showering and singing at 2 am while I was sleeping. Rude and inconsiderate behavior by 3 people (hotel participants) Key locks were old, locked myself in by accident, had to shout for staff assistance

The staff at Curiocity was amazing, i would also like to give a special shoutout to Carol and Lucky for making the whole process seamless and effortless. I felt at home.

Mountain views for days from the common area. Loved the curated artworks by leading S.A artists. The team is fun and always willing to assist. Stayed during one of their StoryTelling Dinners, great way to learn soo much about Cape Town i highly recommend you sign up for it. Room was neat and convenient . Kloof street is a great destination, lots of coffee shops and the best restaurants, bars all within walking distance. I will be back.

It’s central and has a nice view of Table Mountain.

It was not serviced regularly and the staff was not responsive. Not safe too, I lost 2 valuable items whilst staying on the property, some nights I was left alone in the building with no one to assist me at reception.

We requested an early check in but only managed to access our room after 2 hours.

Bad establishment management that cost me an extra R4800 because they canceled my reservation even though I paid for it in October 2024 for April 2025 due to Two Oceans being a busy event. I would never ever recommend this place for anyone.

I like the friendly amosphere and the hosts willingness to go the extra mile.

I liked the peaceand quiet. I had a good night's sleep there every day during my stay.

Het enige dat goed is van de accommodatie is de lokatie. Gardens is een leuke wijk van Kaapstad.

We hadden een kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden gereserveerd. In werkelijkheid was het een tweepersoonsbed. Ter plaatse kwamen we er ook achter dat we de badkamer en keuken moesten delen met een andere gast. We hebben uitgelegd dat de accommodatie niet voldoet aan de omschrijving op Booking en om restitutie gevraagd. Daar waren ze niet toe bereid. Later vernamen we dat ze de ruimte nog dezelfde nacht aan andere mensen hebben verhuurd. Kortom, lokatie voldoet niet aan beschrijving en de klantgerichtheid is ver te zoeken.

Fijne sfeer, een geweldig gezamenlijk dakterras met fantastisch uitzicht op de Tafelberg. Onze kamer had een gedeelde badkamer en keuken maar was netjes en helemaal prima. Voor 1 nacht was dit prima. Locatie was top. Kloofstreet bevat veel horeca en loopafstand.

De kamer was wat benauwd. Het openstaande raam bood beperkte frisse lucht.
