Chalet 64, Lakeside, Glan Gwna Holiday Park

The chalet is in a quiet, well kept park and has lovely views of trees and water. We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities and had everything we needed in the chalet. The TV, internet and cooking facilities are great. The communication from Kate and Paul was good and the directions very helpful upon arrival. We particularly enjoyed the verandah 😊

The sofas are a little uncomfortable but fine for a couple of hours in the evening. Being next to a road was a little disappointing but it wasn't too busy.

We stayed in the chalet for 3 nights and it was a genuinely lovely experience. The place is clean, well-organised, and has everything you need — nothing feels missing. The highlight is the balcony, which has beautiful views, and if you’re lucky you’ll spot swans on the river below (we did!). It’s within about 20 minutes of the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which is incredibly convenient. The community has a café, laundry, and all the essentials, so you’re well looked after without having to go far. It’s a great choice if you’re after somewhere relaxing to unwind — and with those views, it also works brilliantly as a remote work base. Would recommend.

The size of the chalet was perfect for the 4 of us, clean and comfortable. It had everything you needed to cook, clean etc and not having to take bedding or towels was fantadtic. The location of the Chalet is tucked away but still not too far from the main area with the pool, shop, clubhouse.

Nothing to dislike.

The chalet is a great location, tucked away at the edge of Glan Gwna holiday park. It is excellently equipped, everything you could need in the kitchen, bathroom etc. Thoughtful things that make it feel very comfortable. It was very clean. Having access to the pool was a great bonus and it's an excellent location for exploring that part of North Wales.

Not necessarily a negative but it is a dog friendly chalet (clearly advertised) so if you don't have a dog, you might be more aware of a bit of a doggy smell in living area.
