It was spacious and well located. The kitchen was large enough for a few people to stand in and there was a small garden which was nice for some fresh air

There were some marks on the walls, and one door had a punch mark through the back of it. Some small details which can be easily fixed :)

Excellent value for money - while the amenities are quite basic, the beds are comfy, the showers are nice and hot (with plenty of warm water for multiple showers) and the location is unbeatable - a quiet retreat only minutes from the city centre. Our host was attentive but not intrusive, and communication was great. This was a great base for our Manchester adventure and unbeatable at the price.

Location was good and property matched the photos for the most part (see further details below). Host was polite and responded in a reasonable timeframe to the issues we raised with them.

No hot water on arrival at the property and the boiler had to be replaced during our stay. We were unable to use the toilet for several hours one afternoon due to the water being off while the boiler was replaced. Even once the boiler had been replaced, it lost pressure overnight so the tank had to be refilled before we could get hot water. We suspect there's still a leak somewhere that needs to be addressed. There was a floorboard missing in the upper landing hallway which was under the carpet so not visible until we stepped in it - this is a hazard and we were lucky not to injure ourselves. We also noticed that a plug socket near the boiler had a prong from a plug stuck in it, which is a fire hazard. There was also atleast one missing smoke alarm that we spotted. Fridge alarm would randomly go off even during the night and was a nightmare to figure out how to stop the alarm (only one of our group was able to do it). Two of the doors (a bedroom and a bathroom) had holes in them that looked as if someone had punched them. A piece of paper was taped over one of the holes but no effort had been made to repair or replace it. Mirror in the living room was also cracked. There was also water damage to walls and ceilings throughout the property. Host was responsive with the issues that we raised with them, however most of this should have easily been spotted and resolved prior to our stay and it was frustrating that we were put out by the boiler being replaced mid-stay. It's also concerning that the property had serious hazards like the plug socket and missing floorboard.

Great location, super comfy

The lock box is directly on top of a drain and we dropped the keys trying to get them in so I would prob move that (we did get the keys out using a snake pole)

The only good thing about this property is that the location is very good. Not far from town at all

Everything. Very unclean (toe nail on the stairs). Was unsafe, fire alarm was hanging down from the cable (wire was visible). Mould in the showers, window lock was broken so one room was cold.
