Noisy

It was clean and close to Manchester Victoria station. Good location for those who like pubs and partying.

Street was noisy and a lot of light emission. I also had noisy neighbours next door who were walking in high heels and singing songs at 1am. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable, all thin and hard, and no selection. I had a terrible night and woke up with a headache.

Great place to stay, great customer service and easy to get around town!

Everything. Perfect location, quiet, clean and comfortable. We went to the Big Night of Musicals and it was the perfect place for us to stay. My mother in law struggled to find access to enter the building, and because of train delays I couldn’t get to her to help however Umer was exceptional and went above and beyond to help her and made her feel safe.

The extra deposit when we arrived was a surprise and felt unrequired. But can understand if we were partying etc but we weren’t. It was refunded quickly though.

location, big and spacious but bathrooms are bad.

The apartment was very central, close walking distance to many shops, bars, and things to look at. Its in a quiet backstreet but in summer time it looked like it was like a community street with benches so maybe a bit more noise then but im not sure. The beds where comfy, and nice with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Getting the keys and dropping them off was very simple.

Need a bigger couch as its only a 2 seater so bit troublesome when we where 3 people like hanging out in the living room. The TV's could also get an upgrade but its not a major issue. And the water preassure in the shower was horrible, and was not getting hot so had to take a 30C shower in the middle of January. With 2 bathrooms was hoping for one of them being functional.

Excellent location in the Northern quarter. Very convenient for exploring the area.

Dishwasher was still loaded from previous occupants. There was also a leak in the apartment and heating had all been hit up WAY too high no doubt to dry out the damage

It was clean, very warm (we were at the beginning of January), silent, with all the facilities necessary. Amazing location, I would say the best.

Good value, lovely fully-controllable central heating, but earplugs are essential

Good value for the area, a well-furnished self-contained apartment with excellent, fully controllable, central heating.

I stayed in the exact same apartment around a year ago, but this time wasn't so successful. I was on the first floor and the noise from the street was terrible, even on a Monday night (and then I got woken up early every morning by the glass bottle collector). I also had a leaky kettle and some of the cutlery was sticky.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Good location

Would have been a nice stay apart from the lack of response to several issues we encountered. Being on the top floor, each morning at 5.30am a loud vibrating noise started above and continued all morning. We were told it was the ventilation system so definitely wouldn’t want to stay on the top floor again. Next, several floor panels at the entrance to the kitchen area were raised or sunken and a real hazard. The apartment should not be let out until this is repaired. Also, although the apartment was relatively clean, I was appalled when i dropped a pen in the bedroom which rolled under the bed. On retrieving it, I saw that it was filthy underneath, obviously never checked or cleaned - there was even an item of clothing there.(underpants I think) The key lock was also faulty and each time we tried to open or lock the door, it was a right faff. I informed the lady on reception of these issues and apart from cleaning under the bed, nothing else was addressed. I informed Quay Apartments again (twice) when they asked how our stay was, but have heard nothing. I therefore surmise that my opinion is not important to them after all.

It’s cheap for a reason, won’t recommend

Location just that, avoid this property. I checked in & checked out within few mins as I felt very unwelcomed. Staff at front reception is bit rude. there’s additional security deposit and tried to charge me 25% of entire booking for single

It’s smaller then pics show and damp smell but 200 additional deposit when original booking is steep and NO VISITOR ALLOWED really put me off. 58 Townhouse & Aparthotel are much better value for money where I will happily go again

I left feeling shamed and discriminated against.

The apartment was clean and in a good location for Manchester Pride.

I was refused entry to a guest I met during Pride, who would have been in my apartment for less than an hour. This blanket “no visitors” policy felt excessive, intrusive, and left me feeling shamed. As a gay man, I personally don’t believe I would have been treated the same way if I was heterosexual. The experience cast a shadow over my Pride weekend, made me feel anxious in the apartment, and completely dampened my stay.

Great location, but maintenance issues

We liked the location an the space and view in the apartment. Staff was very attentive and friendly!

In the kitchen it would be an improvement if you could find more glasses and plates. Al little disappointing are the maintanence issues like broken bathroom door handle, loos toilet seat, slightly blocked sink. On plus I still do not have my deposit back.

Great Stay at Quays Apartments

- Great Location. Views across the city centre. - Friendly staff at check in. We were even upgraded to a bigger top floor apartment. - The facilities were brilliant. Everything you would need, even down to a washing machine. Perfect if you're staying a few days. - The bed was comfortable. - The shower was hot and powerful. - The balcony was lovely to have.

- Even though the bed was comfortable the pillows were very flat and the duvet too thick. - No Aircon in the bedrooms and due to being close to bars you couldn't have the windows open for ventilation. - Some areas of decor were looking a little tired and needed a bit of a touch up. The living room had wallpaper coming off the wall and some paint in the communal areas was chipped away. - 2 chairs in the living area had cigarette burns.

Worst customer service.

Great property location and that’s where it ends

Glasses and mugs were all dirty with lipstick marks and the dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes when I checked inn. The property had no water at all despite paying for late check out. They wanted me to leave without a shower which I eventually did. They look my deposit for £100 for no fault of my own.

First, I would like to thank all staff members for supporting and interacting, especially Mr. Omar and the sisters who saw her in the reception. I like the location; it's excellent; it's near the center, malls, and markets. Also, they provide a clean room every 5 or 6 days and a washer and clothes machines, and the space is good and also there is a kitchen.

Sometimes you smell the cooking smells of the restaurants downstairs.

Great location for Manchester city stay!

The apartment itself was spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which really made a positive difference.

The only drawback was the location — it’s surrounded by bars and nightlife, which might be fine for some, but made it a little less suitable for families with children. If you’re visiting Manchester for the nightlife, this spot is ideal. For a quieter trip, you might prefer somewhere a bit further from the party scene.

Remarkable

The room had everything I needed and had a lovely view of the street from my wide windows. The location of the accommodation is perfect, as it is a walkable distance from the Piccadilly train station and Piccadilly Gardens. Its proximity to shops and cafes and pubs is the icing on the cake.

The huge deposit fee of 200 pounds upon arrival (although it's stated in the terms and conditions, and it is refunded after your stay).

Extremely poor greetings and beware street noise

The location but not the street noise

Picking up the room keys was a nightmare. I arrived and no one answered the door even though many staff were working inside despite ringing the buzzer at the time. I phoned the number and he answered someone will attend to me in an hour. In the summer we needed to open the windows so the noise from pubs around is unbearable up to 5am the next day

Good choice

An all - in - one modern, small and clean room with a well equipped kitchenette in an old and colorful part of Manchester, along an enertainment beer-street but no worries , quiet after 10:00 P.M.. Very good location close to a bus terminal and central part of the city (do not drive in Manchester, just walk). A pleasant surprise - a human reception ( Nejma, thanks a lot).

A fan and thick dark in color curtains (not existing window roller blinds) would greatly improve the standard of the apt.
