Unusual

The location was definitely good. The host was relaxed and gave a friendly introduction.

The advert could've made it more obvious that the room available for booking is actually a spare room in a house, where the host is actively living i.e. using the same bathroom, kitchen, and toilet as the host. So their stuff is everywhere. It felt like staying in a stranger's student university house which could've definitely benefitted from a bit of a clean. Whilst the host was very very nice and clearly a good laugh, it was, at the end of the day, their house, that as strangers, you will be sleeping in, with no separate spaces apart from the bedroom.

Notre hôte nous paraissait très amical lors de la rencontre. Nous avions hébergé dans une chambre de sa demeure le soir du nouvel an. En rentrant peu de temps après les coups de minuit, nous nous sommes vite endormis dans la chambre louée. Une simple porte fenêtre nous séparait du salon dans lequel il festoyait. Il nous a prévenu qu'il inviterait deux amis pour la soirée, chose a laquelle nous avions pense qu'il s'agirait d'une petite soirée entre amis. Cependant, nous avions été réveillés à plusieurs reprises au beau milieu de la nuit : le premier réveil était dûe aux cris ardents des ébats sexuels d'une de ses invités, ce pendant au moins une heure. Le deuxième réveil était liée à la musique des enceintes à fond provenant du salon où il se situait. Cette musique n'a cessé de s'arrêter jusqu'à presque midi. Le troisième réveil était lié aux vomissements que notre hôte déversait avant de commencer sa nuit. Durant toute la nuit, notre sommeil a été perturbé. Certes le personnage est agréable d'apparence, cependant pas très respectueux de ses invités alors même qu'ils dorment dans la pièce d'à côté... Par ailleurs, au réveil, nous fumes dégoûtés de l'état dans laquelle la maison se trouvait lorsque nous sommes entrés dans la cuisine/salle a manger/salon.

La famille n’est pas désagréable. On marche 15’ seulement pour atteindre le centre historique.

La famille (un père et 2 jeunes de 20ans environ)habite au même endroit; elle n’a qu’un seul exemplaire de clés. Ces gens nous ont réveillé en rentrant de soirée vers 5h30 du matin en tapant à la fenêtre pour qu’on leur ouvre la porte. Nous avons eu peur, car on n’imaginait pas qu’il faudrait leur ouvrir en pleine nuit! La SDB était ignoblement sale; on ne pouvait pas s’en servir. Des bouteilles de vodka traînent partout y compris dans les WC. La fumée de cigarettes (et autres) est partout.
