Perfect base for our weekend, extr

We found this a great place to stay. The owners, Gina and Prudent, met us on arrival, couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful and explained everything we needed to know. They'd also been very responsive responding to any queries we'd had at the time of booking and prior to arrival. We were in the two bedroom apartment which was secure, spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. Comfortable beds, large/hot shower, secure garage parking, well equipped kitchen, beer and water in the fridge, even a Christmas tree! The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood less than 10 minutes' drive from the motorway. It's about a 30 minute walk to the centre of Ghent or the no.10 bus (de lijn bus app is useful) goes from the bottom of the street which takes you direct to the heart of the city. There's a supermarket at the bottom of the street for provisions. Thanks to Gina and Prudent for providing a perfect base for our weekend.

Great host, very clean and nice place.

The room was super clean, comfy, with complementary water and beer in the fridge. Brochures were available in the room, with city maps which helped a lot when planning our short stay. Room size, the bathroom, kitchen area, all very nice. The host was a true gentleman, helped us punctually with our questions directly, greeted us when we arrived in the evening, handed us the keys, showed us the free private parking space right next to the facility. Hot water, towels, hair dryer, kettle, fan in the bathroom...all worked well. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is 10 mins bus drive from the center, but the bus stop is very close to the facility. One way costs 3 Euros. This didn't cause any problems, just wanted to let others know.

Do not hesitate, just go there

The owners are exceptionally nice. The property is well kept and the area is safe and quiet. Beds are comfy. Carrefour supermarket is 3 minutes walk away. And the Turkish bakery. Buses to the city centre go every couple of minutes. Additional bonus is a free garage.

Good location, short walk or take the bus. Lovely studio appt. Everything you need. Kitchenette with very nice equipment. Table/chairs, lounge chairs, flat screen TV. Tea/coffee maker & kettle. Fridge. Modern bathroom with very good shower. Bedside tables with lamps and sockets. Comfortable beds with nice bed linen. Very nice host. Garage if needed.

Perfect comfortable studio with parking, with easy link to Ghent centre

Really nice spacious studio unit near the centre of Ghent with private parking included. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owner was super kind and accommodating, and gave us so much helpful information! It’s really easy to take a bus into the city centre and back again (15 minutes away by bus or about 30 on foot) - the apartment is very conveniently located. Thanks for the lovely stay!

A quite, friendly and clean place to stay with a garage for cycle storage.

The host was very friendly on arrival, and the location was in a nice, quiet part of town with good eating and drinking options nearby. We were able to store our ebikes in a locked garage next to the property, which was super helpful.

There is a lack of natural light in the downstairs apartment, but this is not a major issue especially for a one night stay like ours. We were very grateful to be somewhere clean and dry after cycling in the rain!

We had an excellent stay and loved the city and the people. We are determined to return.

Our host was charming and very helpful. The garage was adjacent to the property and was of a good size and on the same level. The beer was most welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the flat was very clean and very well equipped. Although the apartment was some way from the city centre and driving is not simple or encouraged the public transport arrangements were excellent , locally and the city park and ride arrangements were superb including a singing bus driver.

The place is extremely well kept, everything seemes to be very new and beautiful… The owner and his wife are very polite and very supportive people. The garage is just in the neighborhood. A very nice kitchen with everything that we needed is available. We had two beers in the late evening , which were not charged to the bill…

Great stay not far from the center

The place is located close to the city center (10-15 minutes by bus). The hosts are very nice and kind, giving advice on any possible question. The room is offering everything you need, and the free parking in a safe garage is a huge plus! The best offer for such a price!

Double bed could be better and more comfortable for the deluxe room. A mirror in the room, some shelves in tne shower would be good.. These are for the 'better', not in the negative.
