The location is excellent to visit the tourist sites like Pao de Azucar and Christo Redentor - short rideshare trips. Loved the breakfast at the restaurant on the 1st floor. The room we got was good for 3 of us and had a sofa bed. We stayed in this property two different times. The bathroom in the 2nd visit was not so clean, was out of body soap.

Hotel was great for the price but the location for New Years was not great over an hour walk to Copa Cabana that's on us for not researching thou but beside that its super close to everything.

Overall hotel looks nice. Location is excellent if you are not looking to be close to Copacabana. Front Desk staff could improve by at least smiling. They were so serious. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel has a nice lobby, period. The corridors to the rooms smell bad (mold/ humidity). During my three days the same McDonnalds bag (with food) remained in the garbage can in the corridors. The rooms are old, walls are stained, floor scratched etc. The shower was good though. All and all not a great stay!

Well located, clean, modern, comfortable, fantastic food, first class service. I had one of the best meals in my life for dinner at the restaurant, the seafood pasta. I will return to stay this hotel when I'm in Rio de Janeiro again.

Staff does not speak English. Fitness room did not have towels and water. Even worse the ac was not work in there what made impossible to workout with an inside temperature of 100F. I need to change rooms as my first one had short circuit. I paid for executive room and got this condition.

Staff are the gold of the hotel. Very flexible at reception and extremely helpful. Just a broken tap handle but all the rest was perfect. Great options of TV channels and bed and pillows very comfortable.

Despite being in a nice location it’s not trivial to reach the beach in front of the hotel. The combination of red lights and underground pedestrian passage is not close to the hotel. Breakfast is very good and the hotel as well as rooms are quite clean. The rooms are a bit dated and are showing their age, including on the Executive Floor.
