Friendly welcome with free upgrade. Room was perfect, comfortable and clean. Our hosts were extremely helpful ehen asked about the local area. Only improvement would be a better variety of breakfast options.

Great concept, but not well operated. Place needs a good scrub - patios have cigarette butts on the patio space and the bathroom tile grout has mold in the shower area. Our toilet needed the supply line opened and closed to operate. Repairs required.

Very nice place situated next to a beautiful forest. The train station is 5 minutes walk and you can be in Brussels city in 45 min. Super friendly staff. Locally there is plenty of nice food and drinks. Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

It was the first time I booked a hotel outside if citycenter. I'm hooked , the location was amazing the owners were friendly and overall I enjoyed my stay . Will definitely go there again. The city close by had great food . If you look to wake up and go for a walk in a forest this us a great place to stay. They've got a pony make sure you give it an apple or something.

The atmosphere at B&B Hippo-Droom was really a classic "home-a-way-from-home", which made our last days in Belgium a perfect finish after three years in Waterloo/Belgium. We can recommend B&B Hippo-Droom as the first or last "home" if you are moving to or from Belgium, or if you are just visiting Belgium for anyother reason and need a place to call home for some nights. The closeness to R0 (motorway) makes Hippo-Droom very accesible.

This B & B is tucked away, about a 10 mins walk from the Groenendaal station. Surrounded by the Sonian Forest. Was a fantastic and comfortable stay and the hosts were just fantastic. On the first day he told us that he had a wedding to attend so to help ourselves to the bar as they won't be there to serve us. It felt like a really warm and trusting environment. If you had your own horses you may also bring them and they stay in the stables at the compound. Really nice atmosphere going on. Relaxed and felt like home away from home. I highly recommend it for little getaway right outside of Brussels.

Attention for the owner Davy is amazing, he has the detail to send a txt asking at what time we will make the check in just to have all perfect, and give me the detail of how to get the hotel because the GPS its not exactly, beside that we make the check in, nice room. Breakfast very good, excellent quality of food and nice place
