Staff (Larry, Elvin, David, et al.) were incredibly friendly, food was amazing, the property was beautiful and entertaining on its own, with the plants and wildlife. We had a wonderful stay.

Villa Massis is a jungle paradise! It is situated amongst giant trees and large flowering tropical plants, right next to the quiet Mopan River. The pool was beautiful to swim in and lounge around. The staff are incredibly friendly: from the owner Larry to all the support staff, they really want guests to have a good time! They are proud of what this part of Belize has to offer. Larry coordinated transport to and from the airport, and set us up with drivers and guides for tubing down the river, swimming by waterfalls, exploring Xunantunich ruins with our knowledgeable guide Luis. Just what we’d hoped for in a jungle get away!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Massis. The room was nice and clean and located in a quiet area. The food was good and the massage was top notch. We also kayaked on the river with Allen. We would definitely stay here again.
