Two of us rented the Iguana cabana and it was wonderful! The thatched roofs are amazing and we got to watch as they replaced the thatch on one of the other cabanas. Surprisingly, no bugs in the cabana. AC was not needed

Just came back from a 3 night stay and what a perfect place it was to end our week in Belize. The grounds are beautiful, the staff accommodating, and fresh coffee waiting for you in the morning. We saw toucans, monkeys, agoutis and some other animals on the property. Speaking of- our favorite staff member- Mama (orange cat) was very welcoming and enjoyed spending much of her time with us. It was about $10usd for a taxi into town and Mike was great about getting us one. Very close to Mayan ruin sites and great spot to visit Tikal and ATM. Thank you for your great hospitality.

This family run resort on the bank of the Macal River is a true retreat from busy San Ignacio, but only a 10 min ride to the center of town. Mike and the staff is wonderful in meeting all your needs, including arranging transport and accomidating early morning meal times to be sure you can eat before your excursions. Small enough resort that you can get to know other guests and trade stroies about your adventures each day.

Our cabana was comfortable and lovely. The entire resort is very relaxing and the owner and staff and warm and very helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day and it was always fresh and delicious. Note that everyone gets the same dinner; there is no menu.
