Great place but Nolan is a cancer to this establishment.

The property itself was enjoyable and most aspects met my expectations.

My stay was ruined by a single staff member named Nolan. The restaurant advertised the Super Bowl as an event. Because of this, I rushed back from a tour specifically to watch the game there. When I arrived, the TVs were set to another channel because Nolan had given a group of guests full control of them, preventing anyone else from watching the game or halftime show. When I requested that the advertised broadcast be shown, Nolan came out and falsely claimed the restaurant had been reserved for a private event and that I should have been informed at check-in. Turned out that was a lie. There was no signage, I received no notice, and the front desk later confirmed that no private reservation existed. Nolan fabricated this explanation and used it to force me out of the restaurant. During the interaction, I was subjected to racist remarks from the group he favored. Nolan did nothing to address it and instead sided with them, escalating the situation by ejecting me. That behavior is unacceptable in any hospitality setting and reflects extremely poor judgment and professionalism. To make matters worse, fruit I had purchased and left with the kitchen for my group the previous night was served to that same table without my consent. This was another example of Nolan’s disregard for guests and their property. Nolan’s dishonesty, bias, and mishandling of this situation completely undermined the experience. His conduct fell well below the standard expected of hospitality staff, and management should take this seriously. The other staff members that night were sympathetic towards my group and I and were going out of their way to still provide us service outside of the restaurant limits. Each time they’d approach us, Nolan would quickly follow and call them back from a distance.

The rooms were cleaned beautifully each day. The pool area was excellent and the restaurant was delicious and all of the restaurant staff were so lovely. Excellent location, easy to walk or taxi into the main city whilst being removed enough to be in a quiet area.

Good place yo dray in San Ignacio

The setting was great. The restaurant had good and reasonably priced food. Everyone was very friendly. The pool was pretty too.

We hired three different cabins, all for the same price. Each one had things lacking. Ie one had no chairs. Another had no microwave or hairdryer. Another had no coffee machine. Also, there should be mosquito screens on all the doors.

Lovely place to spend a couple of days enjoying what San Ignacio has to offer

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great food and pool area. Lovely laid back vibe, friendly dog who would happily follow you around. A/C was great in our room. It's worth going to the local Mayn ruins, very quiet and impressive if you aren't going to another site in Belize. Cave tubing was great too.

Only possible issue is that its a little out of town however it is easy to flag down a local 'taxi', good to be able to chat to the local driver who are always interesting and knowledgeable.

Great Stay

Did a day trip and thsi place exceeded my expectations, reminded me of an area in Gahan called Aburi located in the mountains of Accra cool and serene, The cabin eas extremely comfortable. Fantastic wifi, good on location restarant that had good food. Though i spent just a night ths place exceeded my expectations.

Everything, the accommodations, amenities, staff, food at the restaurant, the location. We were close to all the adventures. The cottages were super comfortable and large.

Great value. Close to town, the staff was great and the pool and food were solid. Our room was cleaned every day. My daughter loved the super friendly dogs on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great setting but disappointing experience

The setting in the hills just outside of San Ignacio is lovely, a great place to unwind after a series of long day tours. The staff are very friendly.

Unfortunately, we had a problem with the air-conditioning in our room that was never fully resolved. The pool was also closed on the afternoon we arrived for a private event and again the next day for cleaning - frustrating given it was one of the main reasons we picked the place, and especially frustrating we couldn't go there to cool off given our A/C issues. Staff were very well-meaning but a little inept, especially in the bar/restaurant. Overall, we were a bit disappointed with our stay here, which didn't live up to expectations.

The wall was paper thin, we could hear the next door’s TV programs. Building not constructed well, many gaps where mosquitoes can enter the rooms. TV did not work in our room.

A great time at Log Cab-Inn

We loved our cabin in well kept grounds. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching the birds in the trees. The pool was excellent and the service in the restaurant exceptional.

Wi fi was unreliable in the cabin but fine at the office. Our only real complaint is the noise of trucks braking on the main road, especially on Friday afternoon when we arrived.

Sadly, our stay with Log Cabin Inn was for the most part sub par and lacking in many areas.

The staff was friendly and tried to be very helpful. The pool area is pleasant and well-maintained. They allowed me to use an outlet to charge my computer while I worked by the pool. The drinks served were excellent.

The disorganization of the check-in process made it feel like the management wasn't doing their job. We did call and asked to extend our stay to two nights, but the person checking us in didn't know anything about this. She then moved us to a room in a large building instead of the cabin we had booked initially. We mentioned this to another employee the next day, and he seemed confused by that. We also found the beds extremely uncomfortable and the pillows very lumpy and hard to use. The room itself was clean, but the construction or maintenance needs improvement. The guests shouldn't see the cracks or seams of the drywall or the screws used to hang it. And there was no sitting area in the room for me to work privately, so I had to go to the pool area to work. The food was lack luster and was unseasoned, so we chose not to eat there the 2nd night.
