About this bed and breakfast
Private, Secure, Macal Riverfront guest Cabana with kitchen. Fenced property with automatic gate opener and off street parking. WiFi, Cable TV, A/C, Hot and cold water. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the large market in San Igancio.
Our place is close to the city center, great views, restaurants and dining, art and culture, and parks. You’ll love our place because of the views, the location, and the privacy. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Beautiful views of downtown San Ignacio and the rain forest. Property sits high above the river. There is a covered picnic table area and laundry facilities as well as filtered water onsite. No need to buy bottled water!!
Owners live on this private property and we are not a public resort or hotel. We have two dogs on the property.
Check in time is anywhere between 12-6 pm. Just give us a smaller window of arrival so we can be here to welcome you. And checkout is 11 am, but we are very flexible. If you need special arrangements we will do everything possible to accommodate you.
Easy access to tours, transportation, restaurants, banks, churches, stores. We will book any tours you want with our trusted local tour company. So many options and so many things to do. So many great restaurants/bars. Ask us and we can recommend some of our favorites.
Off street parking is included. Public transportation and taxis are plentiful. We are two blocks off the George Price Highway in Santa Elena. Most tour companies will pick you up at our gate.

Wish Willy Cabanas was perfect for us. It’s walking distance to the market and town. The Riverfront cabana has a narrow cement patio overlooking the river. We enjoyed mornings, drinking coffee and watching the wildlife. Julie immediately showed us around town and gave us tips about the community and where to find what we needed. She and Gary were generous with their time and helped us if we needed anything. We were very

Julie and Gary are very friendly. Upon checking in, Julie gave us a quick tour of the town and showed us the good places to eat. She provides us beach towels for our ATM tour and is available thru whatsapp calls. The apartment is clean and has a lovely view of the river. Their house is very close to the heart of San Ignacio- less than 10 minutes of walking. I highly recommend it.

Before we ever even got to Belize, Julie was unbelievably helpful in making suggestions for things to do. When we arrived, we entered as strangers, we left having made life long friends. From the moment you arrive at Wish Willy Riverfront Cabanas, Julie & Gary make you feel like cherished family. From a lovely welcome drink, to a tour of San Ignacio, where everyone seems to know and love Ms Julie, to evenings spent talking about everything under the sun. On top of that, the cabanas are lovely, with everything you can think of to have a great stay. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Belize’s Cayo district, look no further that this place. You will NOT regret it! We will be back!!

We had a great experience. The property is as advertised, great view from the balcony, comfortable bed, full kitchen, nice bathroom. We felt safe and secure the entire time. Julie and Gary are wonderful people, if you have no itinerary, they can dial you in in no time, if you have a full schedule, as we did, they will give you all the tweeks to it, that only a local could. Very nice, hospitable people.
