Amazing little place, with beautiful surroundings. Easy to get a taxi to and from the centre of San Ignacio. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful. We were sad to leave.

Our cabana was clean and comfortable. We loved the hammocks on the deck beside the river. It was centrally located for our day drips.

We spent 5 days at Cohune Palms. The property is natural and had resident agouti. We saw huge iguana, toucan, agouti and were lucky enough to see the kinkajou right from the dining area. We were in The hummingbird cabana. They have added stairs up to the loft with 2 single beds. It made the main room a bit squishy but were able to store luggage upstairs. The bathroom was huge with wonderful shower. Lots of hot water with good pressure. Mike snd the staff were friendly and always available. It is within walking distance to a bakery and fruit/veggie stand. Being so close to the river, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t see a single mosquito!

Our cabana was comfortable and lovely. The entire resort is very relaxing and the owner and staff and warm and very helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day and it was always fresh and delicious. Note that everyone gets the same dinner; there is no menu.
