Beautiful hotel and stunning views of Mopan river. Very clean and comfortable with fresh flowers in the room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Exceptional hospitality! Very good food!!
The only thing I didn't like was that the TV in the colonial suite was in a position that is not easily viewed from both sides of the bed. Dinner was a little expensive so we has breakfast and lunch there only.

The room was really nice. Real old fashioned furniture and a four post bed.

Mahogany Hall is located right on a major river surrounded with beautiful jungle. The entire staff is Excellent!
Our meals were heavenly, and the bed and furnishings are AMAZING! We only wish that we had stayed longer.
Tropical birds are all around the hotel and we saw a large troop of howler monkies as we checked in. The manager arranged the best excursion that we took in our whole two week journey on short notice! His name is Edwin, and he provided us the most amazing day of Mayan ruins, cave exploration on canoe, and an awesome butterfly center,
All in one day at a great value!! Many people told us that Mahogany Hall is top three accomodation in the entire
San Ignacio region and we highly reccomend staying here!

We loved this place right along the river. It was about 3 miles from St. Ignacio so I recommend a car however, all the staff was beyond friendly. The meals were so delicious. The menu depended on what they caught that day so the dinners were fresh. Being right along the river was perfection. HIghly recommended!
