An exceptional stay with outstanding service, comfort, and views, easily the top choice in San Ignac

This is truly the best of the best in San Ignacio. You will not find better. The unit was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with everything working perfectly. The private rooftop pool was fantastic, the laundry facilities were convenient, and the views from the top of the hill were excellent. We felt safe walking around the area. It is about a 30 minute walk into town, or a short taxi ride for around $5 USD. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Leda took care of our every need and helped us organize onward travel. We arrived very early and were able to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a truly lovely stay.

Beautiful courtyard, open kitchen and living and dining, roomy, clean. Good AC, bedrooms, and nice area on roof with pool. Easy location.

Didn’t think to ask about the number of stairs going up to bedrooms, which were a challenge for one in our party. That is our fault just thought others should be aware of stairs since I didn’t recall seeing them in a picture of property.

A llovely stay which we’ve extended for a couple days.. proof enough that we found this a perfect place to stay

It was a peaceful haven above the chaotic town and a cool, comfy place to return to after a day of adventures. Meticulously clean, well run, only two years old with 6 villas behind secure walls. Each villa is spacious and beautifully designed, white with modern appliances, tv and and ac, with pretty tiles and fixtures in the huge bathrooms, lots of decorative pillows in muted tones, and white quilted comfy beds…all very tasteful and minimally luxe. The pretty plunge pool is totally private on a large terrace with loungers, and with views of the distant local homes and nearby roads to tourist destinations.

Perfectly maintained by lovely staff, with tropical plants and bougainvillea but steps up to the front door with no ramps to roll luggage. some steps to each level need rails and ramps too. If renting the larger villas there are multiple levels with steps, so check with the delightful property manager, Leda, if you have physical concerns!

It wasn’t walkable to town but we didn’t have a car so it was fine. There was one restaurant and grocery store that was nearby

Selected this resort to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Absolutely the best!

The privacy of the courtyard, beautiful property, the decor inside is tranquil. Love the space in the two bedroom villa and the rooftop plunge pool. The rooftop view is magnificent. Plenty of snacks on the counter and stocked fridge, although we did not partake in any of them. Very comfortable bed. Local dining and supermarkets nearby resort. Appreciated the loaf of bread to welcome us; very delicious!!!

Uneven gravel outside. I tripped and fell. Scraped knee and foot, but I am ok.

Beautiful, modern clean decor, spacious, own private pool. Nice panaromic view from balcony. Well stocked kitchen; there was ground coffee and potable water and a large selection of drinks, milk, etc. to purchase from the mini bar. Amazingly helpful staff. Leda is warm, gracious, welcoming, and able to arrange transportation at a moment’s notice.

Locate outside the town of San Ignacio. Nothing is walkable. Pool is not heated, so not usable in the winter. Small inconveniences - such as not enough hooks and towel stands in the bathroom and luggage rack, but lots of closet/drawer space to keep clothes

Fantastic stay.. you won’t be disappointed 🤩

The property is really beautiful. High end furniture and finishings.Huge suite and bathroom and our own private pool. A beautiful view of town from our balcony. The washer and dryer were well used toward the end of our 3 week trip to Belize. There is no restaurant on site, but Rolson’s is a short walk away and there is also a grocery store that is walking distance. A few hills though.There are lots of snacks and drinks available for purchase in the well equipped kitchen and filtered water readily available .A beautiful loaf if bread was left for us which we greatly enjoyed. Leda was lovely ( as were all the people we met in San Ignacio)and helped us with taxis to go into town(10-15BZD)although it is walkable. We also walked to Cahal Peche and The Iguana project at San IgnacioResort Hotel( which is not nearly as nice as Las Haciendas) Leda also arranged a great private transfer for us to Placencia. Our stay was wonderful! Highly recommended staying here5 ⭐️

Beautiful, upscale property with privacy

By far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. Sparkling clean and up to date everything. I think the property is pretty new. There are a few restaurants up on the same hill if you don’t want to go into town but into town was easy enough, an inexpensive cab ride if you don’t want to climb back up the hill.

The place is great with amazing roof top and little pool. Beds are comfortable and we had everything we need. Leda was amazing host who made our stay even better.

Some closet or shelfs in bedroom will be nice but we were fine without it too.

This was our refreshing oasis in the jungle!

The pictures didn’t do this justice. The place is like Pottery Barn vacationed in Belize. The high ceiling and large bathroom gave us ample room with three adults. It was a joy to be there. The staff was lovely. So many sweet touches like a freshly made treat and purified water machine and even some tide pods with the washer and dryer! It was cool weather and twice we walked into town and once we walked back.

A small table with chairs under the tv might be quite useful.

We loved the property. It was beautifully decorated and felt very high end. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was spotless. We loved the rooftop pool! Everything exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful clean peaceful property but too many stairs.

It was a beautiful property, clean, very quiet and peaceful.

Not very suitable for elderly. Too many stairs with no hand rails. All sleeping arrangements were upstairs and so our single mom was not able to go up and we had to give up a king size bed so she could sleep on the lower floor. It was not clear when we booked the place the configuration of the rooms and the fact that there were so many stairs. Location was also a bit remote making it difficult to easily walk to places.

A lovely townhome, perfect for a family to spread out and have a bit of space for a longer trip.

Beautiful townhome with a lovely plunge pool. We enjoyed having so much space and the washer and dryer were helpful.

The staircases felt dangerous, especially the staircase from the roof pool to go downstairs into the unit. The steps are smooth stone and there is no handrail for part of the staircase. Plus, it's a long staircase, so a fall would be very dangerous. This is a bad combination but a terrible combination when you consider kids with wet feet (from the pool) going down the steps.

spectacular oasis to enjoy.

The suite was beautifully furnished and had most of the modern amenities we needed. the kitchen was huge modern and well stocked , including water dispenser. The beds were large and very comfortable. the bathrooms were spacious and worked well, plenty of towels. having three toilets was great, one on the ground floor. We also used the washing machineand dryer which ws awsome. The rooftop pool and views were spectacular. i liked there was also an umbrella for hot days on the roof. Staff were great and attended to anything we needed.

The stairs are a bit steep and slippery. It really needs some had rails leading down from the pool, with wet feet its easy to slip and fall. You do need a taxi to get into town . buts thats cheap an easy.

Wonderful villa, very well kept, just a little jaunt by car to town.

The villa was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The staff was great and made the experience very worthwhile.

It wasn’t a walking distance from town, but with a car, was easily accessible.

Beautiful introduction to Belize that’s home away from home

Responsiveness, attentiveness and professionalism of the staff; villa amenities to include massage options; beautiful views; home away from home experience; and the location. If you’re fit no car needed, if not, things are close by car.

Barking dog across the road, and lack of long-term storage. There are many stray dogs in town in general, but they didn’t seem to bother us…except for 2 small dogs with attitudes.

Absolutely Divine!!!!

The property is one of a kind, for Belize at least. I have been to so many places across the country and even internationally and never came across a property quite this unique. The amenities were of exceptional quality as well as the building facilities. Not to mention the amazing location with an exceptional view overlooking the town. During the day ,we were able to see the town and the mountains in the distance. By night, we had the breathtaking view of the town all lit up. I arrived at the property late and Ms. Leda accommodated my request. She made the experience absolutely amazing, was warm and very inviting. I will absolutely recommend this property to my other friends and colleagues.

Wonderful beautiful property in Belize

The property was spotless and had lovely touches like coffee,sugar and even paper kitchen towel. Leda the property manager was so helpful and friendly as were all the cleaners and Abby the maintenance man . Had almost everything we needed. Quite central to the town and we even had food delivered. The Air con was very welcomed too as well as the ceiling fans. There is a small roof top pool with outside table and chairs and towels to use for the pool. We would book again without a doubt. We felt very secure with it being within surrounding wall and punch code lock to doors. Also we made use of the safe.

For us staying for 2 weeks we would have liked more hanging space and drawers for our clothes. Maybe bedside tables with drawers would have been useful. A small net left on the roof for the bugs in the pool also would be a great idea. The property was ideal and beautiful, these two points are the only changes we would have made if taking bookings for longer periods.

Fantastic experience in San Ignacio

We had such a wonderful stay at Las haciendas. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped — everything we needed to relax after a day of adventures. The highlight was definitely the pool; it was beautiful and refreshing, the perfect way to end the day while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Ignacio.
