The location was wonderful, within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do. The hotel is in an historic building therefore it lacks some of the modern conveniences. It makes up for it though, in style and charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Salzburg and within the Alrstadhotel Weisse Taube.

We had a great time in Salzburg staying at this hotel. You could not ask for a more convenient location right in the heart of Old Town! Very clean, comfortable beds, and lovely, helpful staff. The restaurant next door (Zwettler’s) was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The hotel was close to all major places to see within walking distance. The hotel didn’t have AC and room faced the street side a bit noisy till 1030pm. A oscillating fan available but it sounded like lawn mower a bit too loud. The room was clean and tidy.

The hotel is in a great area however you can’t drive there because there are gates around old town. You need to make sure to call the hotel and get the address of a parking structure near the hotel, then we had to drag our luggage over from the parking which is about 10 minutes walk. There are gates on both sides of the town that if you are a first timer, you will have a hard time figuring out. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Very minimalistic, barely any toiletries, it’s LOUD and even the fans in the room are loud and have bright lights. So if you can’t leave the window open, you are stuck with loud fans with bright blue lights. Location wise it’s in the middle of everything and the staff was SUPER friendly.

The hotel location is great and walkable to most of the sight seeing. The room was clean and comfortable just didnt have air conditioner but we were lucky that the weather was cool. Wifi connection was good.

Absolutely loved the building, it was tucked into the old town and had so much character. The rooms were clean. Location was amazing. Such a short walk to everywhere you want to be.

Ideal location for key tourist sites.Friendly staff. One of the day receptionists was particularly helpful with visit suggestions - and also when we needed to change rooms. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. No other meals provided but there are lots of nearby restaurants. BUT the hotel needs new investment. There is no aircon and the plumbing system gave off awful smells. Our ‘premium’ room (52)on the top floor was too hot even in June ( close to 30C and stuffy). We moved to a lower floor which was better. There is no lift to the top floor. The hotel was quite expensive; it needs to offer better value.

The location was incredible!!! The room itself was average. NO AIR CONDITIONING. I didn’t know that a lot of places in the area do not have air conditioning. Our window opened to a walled in square (absolutely no view) so opening our window did not allow for a breeze or circulation. The bathroom was tiny and the pillows were flat. My husband loved the candy in the lobby lol and did I mention the location was fabulous!!!

The property was very well located in the Old City Salzburg Marie, one of the check-in personnel was fabulous. She went out of her way to find me the best room for myself. She also helped me with my luggage which was quite heavy, and I'm a senior.

Lovely stay at this hotel which is so perfectly located in the older part of the city. The rooms were nice including the shower, nice and large. For our young adult/teen children we had a great room with three twins. Breakfast was nice and adequate. Very happy with our choice!!
