This hotel is a small, typical European room. The main selling point is that it is safe, secure, quiet and Nicolo was the most helpful! Set back away from the crowds, we had no problems.

Staff are nice and very helpful. Room is big and location is perfect, walking distance to Restaurants and transportations but in a quiet alley. Family friendly. Breakfast are served.

Cà Due Leoni was a fantastic local hotel a short walk from Santa Lucia train station, in the quiet but convenient Cannaregio district (many locals live in this district, so it doesn't have the typical touristy feel whatsoever). We had a very comfortable room, that was ready before normal check-in time. Breakfast was lovely, and we ate in the courtyard. The hosts Vladimiro & Nicolo were excellent. Any question we had was answered with much detail - we had all the directions for the vaporetti (a few minute walk to the 4.1/4.2 and 5.1/5.2), and a handy local map. A special note about the hosts: they recovered our daughter's lost phone from the local police, and just today confirmed they shipped it to our home. We can not express enough gratitude for this - thank you both for your help.
