    Great location near the train and bus stations...20 minutes to cross island to main attractions. Rooms are small but cozy. A bit of a treck with luggage up the stairs but well worth the stay. Building is older and nestled in a tiny quiet area but all rooms have been renovated, including bathrooms. Staff is very nice and they offer a small but good breakfast with juices, coffee, pastries, cheese, eggs, yogurt and cereal, toast....enough to get you going for the day. Would stay again....enjoy.

    It pains me to write this review because the staff were great and so is the location, but my friend who was in the room next to me woke up with 2 scorpions in her room (room 44). We notified them when we were leaving since it was our last day, and the answer we received is that the room is next to the garden.

    The room was infested with insects ranging from mosquitoes to scorpions. There was no soap in the bathroom and the hairdryer didn’t work. When I informed the front desk that I found two scorpions in the room she said “they were harmless.” Breakfast was very basic with limited protein options. I would not recommend this hotel.
