Really a good place to stay and explore Venice's main island. Especially at night, when the main tourist groups have left Venice, the city is so charming and quiet. It is very close to the St. Lucia Station, also the ferry station if you arrive by airplane. The hotel breakfast is fantastic, so tasty, and has many choices. Besides, the nearby restaurants are nice as well. If we come back to Venice, we will stay here again.

Our stay at the Carnival Palace was one of the most memorable parts of the entire trip, thanks almost entirely to the extraordinary people who work there.
On our very first night, our daughter's medical nebulizer blew out due to a voltage issue. Sara at the front desk did not skip a beat. She took complete ownership of the situation, helped us locate a replacement, and did it all with such calm warmth that what could have been a very stressful medical emergency became a manageable moment. Sara, you are a true professional and a genuinely wonderful person. We cannot thank you enough.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, thoughtfully designed, and the beds are among the most comfortable we slept in during our entire journey through Italy.
Breakfast was its own daily joy. Francesca, Eljone and the entire breakfast team welcomed our large group every single morning with warmth, attentiveness and genuine kindness. They made six of us feel completely at home.
The location in Cannaregio is ideal. Peaceful enough to rest, perfectly positioned to walk to everything Venice has to offer.
If you are planning a stay in Venice, the Carnival Palace is the answer. The property is beautiful, but it is the people who make it truly special. Thank you Sara, Francesca, Eljone and the whole team!
If you are a first time Italy traveler in the Winter or Spring, keep in mind that the Air Con is not self controlled, you must call the front desk for help.

The room is comfortable - new furniture, spacious, the bathroom has everything you need for a good relaxing bath.
We liked staying in Cannaregio, the neighborhood of the hotel. It’s less crowded than the city center and has amazing restaurants. But, if you are looking for a place that is close to the main tourist attractions, the hotel is very far away, at least 30-40 minutes walking.
Even though the room is comfortable, the decor is terrible - it feels like a motel.
The breakfast is super disappointing- terrible! Fruits were tasteless, juices were not natural, worst americano coffee I’ve ever tasted.
The hotel is not cheap at all, for its price it should be mandatory to have a better breakfast.
The score of the hotel is high because they send all the guests a WhatsApp literally asking for you to give a higher score than 9,3 in order to keep leveling up their score - terrible conduct!!
