Hotel Palazzetto Madonna

The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely part of Venice. All of the big tourist sites are within a short walking distance but the area is quiet, not busy, and feels private. Very near to wonderful restaurants, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the powerful A/C was especially appreciated during the heat wave.

An upmarket and glitzy boutique property. The rooms are great and comfortable. Location is excellent and is within walking distance of all the historic sites.

The bar area is very basic and service not great.

Hotel Palazzetto Madonna is fantastic, located in San Polo, a quieter district of Venice, but only a 5 minute walk from the hustle and bustle - we actually preferred this side of the Grand Canal, lots of gorgeous places to eat and boutique shops. We were upgraded on our arrival to the Garden Suite, as it was our belated honeymoon break, which was amazing! The room was huge! Tall ceilings, air con, his and hers sinks, electronic curtains - the bed was so comfy! Plus, had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the courtyard where we would sit most nights with a bottle of wine and listen to the birds and the church bells before going out. Breakfast was crazy! A huge selection of cheeses, breads, meat, English breakfast, fruit, cakes, and so much more - the biggest selection, and we sat in the courtyard each morning to eat which was lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
