Locanda Ca' Lucrezia

The location was excellent. It was only about a 3-minute walk from Venezia Santa Lucia train station, which made arriving and leaving with luggage very convenient. At the same time, the property is tucked away from the busiest streets, so it was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There was a good variety, including fresh fruit, and it was generous and filling. Overall, the location was perfect for our short stay in Venice, as we could easily walk everywhere while still being very close to the station.

There is no elevator, which is important to keep in mind if you are traveling with heavy luggage.

This small hotel was a few minutes' walk from the Santa Lucia rail station. The room was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the courtyard at the rear of the hotel. The staff were very kind and had excellent English communication skills, they were very helpful in every way. You will be given a key card for the front door, so you can come and go as you like. The reception is only operational in the mornings, so if you are arriving later in the day, you ring can call reception from the front door for easy access. If you need to shop for any food or drink items for your room, there is a great grocery store 2 minutes away, and there is a pharmacy close by too. Overall, if you are looking for a small comfortable and quiet place to stay that is a reasonable price, I highly recommend Locanda Ca' Lucrezia.

There were no negatives about the stay at this hotel. I think it would be useful to highlight that the building does not have a lift. As the hotel is in a very old building, it does not have an elevator. When booking again, I would recommend asking for a room on the first floor, as the stairs to the second floor were a bit of a chore for me.

The location was good. Close to the train station. Room was clean.

Room was very noisy, a weird humming sound going at all time. Cleaning staff started hoovering the hallways at7.45 am. The place was so noisy they left ear plugs on the bedside lockers. There was one, very flat, pillow each. Only seen reception staff when checking out. There was also no lift so as we were on the top floor it was very hard taking the luggage up and down.
