The staff was very rude and mean to me, accusing me of things I didn’t do. They wouldn’t let me take my breakfast to my bedroom. I accidentally spilled some dry cereal and they made me sweep it up. Otherwise the room was very nice and clean. Better than a lot of hotels in the San Marcos area for the price. I don’t think I will go back if the man and woman working that day will still be there. They tied to apologize as I was leaving, which was nice, but I wanted to stay a few more nights but after the whole breakfast ordeal , I wasn’t gonna stay another night.

The outside of the hotel needs maintenance, leafs to be blown, the outside lights were shut down to early I couldn’t see a thing by 6am. Breakfast could have been better displayed and more options. Receptionist was great.

Parking is horrible,came back after a college game and there was not any parking at all, went to front desk and he was clueless as to what to do, i felt like it wasent his problem so he didnt care. I wasent going to leave until there was a solution or give me my money back, he finally said i could park in the front grassy area in front of the motel, yes, motel, this is definetly not a hotel, but i paid 220 for for one night thinking it was a nicer hotel! Not worth it at all!!! But its done, will definetly not stay here again for rhat price, my fault, should have researched better!!

I booked a room for 3 nights for parent weekend, I’ve stayed at one of these before and had an excellent experience. But this one was terrible. I ask for a non-smoking room but when I walked in it REEKED of smoke, and the smell saturated my PJ’s and my regular clothes so I smelled like it the next day. There were mysterious staines on the little sofa thing, burn holes in the bedding, what looked like patched bullet holes in the walls, the AC unit was more white noise than an actual AC, and the door gaps were so big I could almost see outside. The floors were gross and the water smelled weirdly funky. I left as soon as I could, but since I booked through here I’m fighting tooth and nail for a refund. Unless you give zero f**ks about quality- DO NOT STAY HERE.

I would recommend for the complimentary breakfast to have microwaveable bowls available for the oatmeal instead of only providing styrofoam bowls bc they melt in the microwave. How else could we make the oatmeal you provided without the correct bowls. Also, would be better if the breakfast provided something cold to drink like orange juice or apple juice instead of only hot coffee.

Staff made accommodations from two queens to a king size. Room was clean. Staff was nice gave us extra towels, and we needed them.We did not want to be bugged by room service.So they didn't come to clean the room.While we were there hibernating and enjoying the hotel room. The only thing was the room was hot for me.First got in there, took about an hour in twenty minutes to cool down the entire room

Safety was a concern as there were people who appeared to be on some type of drug sleeping on the floor outside of our door. The room itself was not cleanly, and all of the furniture was outdated and poor condition. Staff was sketchy caught them in multiple lies very seedy and sketchy business.

The hotel was older that on the pictures on line. The rooms were not pleasing to see plus the linen on the beds had human hairs and the light fixtures to the bathroom did not work. We were given another room and I was hoping that it would be different but, it was the same. The linen was dirty and there were stains in each bed. I was so disappointed and the front desks did not have other extra rooms.

Did not look like the pictures. Charged me to $92, $1 & then full price for the two night stay. I did the “convenient link” for speedy and easy checkout and requested later complimentary check out and was denied unless I paid. There was fighting and disturbances and called front desk and they did nothing about it. Went on from 1:40-4am

I like the surroundings where it's located , close to Chick-fil-A, Hawaiian Bros, HEB, the San Marcos River. The rooms were clean, the staff were always available when we needed things. Thank you for letting us enjoy the quietness and peaceful area, I needed that when I worked overnights
