Clean and decorated beautifully for Christmas!
Housekeeping on 4th floor at 5am slamming room doors! Check out was 12 but housekeeping pounding on our door at 9am despite having do not disturb sign outside on door handle.

Close to Texas state university, nice bar area and seating areas and pool.
Not much I didn’t like besides the poor view, which was the free way and that the bathroom was dated and wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. I also didn’t like that I don’t get point because I book through booking, next time I will used Hilton to book instead of booking.

TWO separate forms of payment even though room was prepaid over a month ago- then charged one of my credit cards for the room again….; we were the only people at checkin counter and it still took 20 min to check us in; Management very slow to fix double billing (management not onsite until afternoon on a busy Saturday, no “call from management” as promised….no apology when over-charge was addressed, just - oh, well we have new people”; Bar closes at 10 pm on a Friday night, only mirror was in the bathroom so tricky for two people to get dressed at the same time; door latch meant as a lock from the inside malfunctioned and locked us out of the room (nice staff person got us in quickly but said “it happens all the time” … shouldn’t the issue be fixed?!); a/c fan “constant” mode did not work —- making it difficult to drown out the loud TV next door at 3:30 AM; hotel instructions invite you to get a “digital key” - called front desk for instructions and jumped through hoops to get Hilton honors membership, download app and request digital key per instructions to save time since we were cutting it close for our event, only to get a reply that said “digital key available upon providing ID at front desk” totally defeating the purpose.
Needless to say - we would not recommend and will not be staying here again. Fairfield Inn has better rates and includes breakfast. Should have gone for that.

From the front desk associates to the lady taking care of us at the breakfast bar . The cleaning staff was very courteous .
It's not that we didn't like it but we stayed for than 1 night and we wish you had a little more variety on your breakfast buffet , we had the same breakfast for 3 days .

Breakfast was exactly what you needed in the morning. Beds were very comfortable but the best part were the people that assisted us in check in and dinner in the evening.
I don’t know if anything can be done but the highway noise was a lot in our room facing the highway.

It is clean! The lobby has a bar, sitting and a good breakfast. Not a buffet, but a real cooked breakfast. They allowed us to ck in early. The pet area was large.
The pet area had dead grass and I have a 7 pound dog with very small paws. The grass was hurting her feet.

I booked this hotel through Booking. Thought the King Suite was a lot bigger and had a roll out sofa. There was no difference between the two rooms I booked which was a Suite and a Standard room. Nonetheless, we did not stay here. I should have done more research on this because our booking was nonrefundable. The lady at the counter could not help with more accomodations.

it was very clean and updated, pool looked very nice but we didn’t get in. the bar and breakfast were very convenient. rooms were large! staff was amazing. aj at the front desk was so helpful. it’s a “no clean unless you ask” property which is made clear and was no issue. we requested more towels after the second day and got them asap. laundry room was accessible and had times listed for washer and dryer timing. 10/10 would stay again. very easily accessible off of 35 and convenient to Texas State which was the purpose of our visit.
