Room was nice and clean....staff was great. Only issue I had was maid service coming in as I was changing the next morning. Bolt was across the door...don't disturb sign was on the door knob. Some elderly gentleman told front desk that he was checking out and gave the wrong room number. The bolt across the door did not work. Door slid right open

The biggest complaint that I have is this Best Western does not have an elevator. Had I been aware of this I would not have booked with them. When I went back to the website and scrolled all the way down to the ammenities, the LAST item showed no elevators. I was not interested in the ammenities so I did not even go that far when looking for a hotel. This to me should be on the front of their website to make people aware. Going up and down 2 flights of stairs with luggage and other items is not convenient or safe.

Our room smelled like someone had recently fried food inside the room, the blankets are poor quality, they are thin and scratchy and very uncomfortable. It was a non smoking room but it had multiple burn marks in the carpet. The pool had a film on the tiles that made it look like it’s not being cleaned properly.

Location was near Texas State University. It was a last-minute stay; there was availability and the price was excellent. The young lady that assisted us was very friendly and professional. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint, the vent in the bathroom was missing, so it felt a little creepy. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

This property was no where near anything promised. Very small with debilitated exterior. So close to freeway was loud. No elevator. The bathroom had hair in the tub and in the floor, a disgusting stained shower curtain, and the bottom of tub had some sort of extremely worn mat in it. Beds were rick hard. I will never stay at a best western again nor prepay using Expedia.

Check in was fine. The bathroom had hair in the shower and behind the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. There was something spilled all over the wall in the room. I got home and had 4-5 bed bug bites on me. I prayed that I didn’t bring home any critters.

The tub was not as clean as it should have been had a lot of residue. My son’s room was just the same regarding the tub. However room was in great condition.

Nothing fancy, but was great for an overnight stay. Was attending a graduation and it was a close to the campus and very convenient. The morning and evening front desk staff were very nice and friendly. The beds were firm and comfortable. The only thing that made it a less pleasant experience was the train in the distance that came through several times during the night. The interstate traffic noise did not bother us at all. Decent breakfast included.
