    We got a room that could see the Mount Fuji from our window. Perfect place, except that don’t use the laundry machines. It eats your money and did not help the clothes, especially the dryer.

    We had a room that faces Mt Fuji and we had a really great view one of the mornings! Otherwise Mt Fuji is quite close by and can be viewed from the rooftop on a good day. Love the spacious room. Location a bit off the town centre but it doesn’t bother us as we rented a car.

    Haostay is a great hotel, especially if you’re hoping for a room with a view of Mount Fuji. Of course, the view depends on the weather. During my stay, the mountain was covered by thick clouds, so I didn’t get to enjoy the iconic scenery. The hotel offers a choice of two breakfast sets: a traditional Japanese-style meal with rice and side dishes, or a Japanese-style sandwich. There are also complimentary beverages, including coffee, tea, and juices. The location is convenient, with the main street, convenience stores, and a pharmacy all within walking distance. The hotel also provides coin-operated laundry facilities. The only issue I encountered was with the dryer. I had to run it for three cycles, but my clothes were still damp and not even warm when the cycles ended. At first, I thought this was normal, but during my next stay at another hotel in Tokyo, the dryer completely dried my laundry in just one cycle. It seems the dryer at Haostay may need maintenance. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is comfortable, conveniently located, and would be an excellent choice for visitors to Fujikawaguchiko, especially on a clear day when Mount Fuji is visible.

    We didn't expect the room provided is watermelon room which is not mentioned in our booking. Bad experience for the shower due to the hot water is not consistent, need to wait the water to become hot in between, very inconvenient. Only good thing is it have mountain view from roof top and provide breakfast.
