湖の家 Lake House Kawaguchiko

Beautiful home and fantastic location. Super kind owner and he even helped us with our luggage to go to the station.

La maison est parfaitement propre et très jolie. Les équipements proposés, douches et salle de bain sont très bien. L’hôte est vraiment très accueillant et très gentil. Cet endroit est super pour profiter de Kawaguchiko.

Acomodação perfeita! Fica na beira do lago e do parque, e nosso quarto tinha vista para o monte fuji! Incrível. Experiência tradicional japonesa, o quarto era lindo, espaçoso, tudo muito limpo. Fomos informados que por as paredes serem finas (tradicionais japonesas), é possível ouvir coisas de fora do quarto, e isso não foi nenhum problema pois é tudo silencioso. Fomos muito bem recebidos, o proprietário é muito atencioso, foi muito solícito e uma ótima pessoa. O café da manhã é uma delícia, vale a pena incluir. Gostamos muito.

This guesthouse was my favorite place I've stayed during my monthlong trip through Japan. The owner, mr. Tomo, is exceptionally generous and hospitable. Besides making conversation and making sure my stay was good, he gave multiple recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and even offered to drive me to the ones that were a bit further away! There is coffee, tea, free small Japanese snacks and the whole house feels authentically Japanese, with the tatami mats, futons to sleep on and picturesque Mt. Fuji views from my bedroom window (and lakeside views from others). To top it all off, mr. Tomo gave me some mineral water from Mt. Fuji, and drove me to Kawaguchiko station so I wouldn't have to hurry for my bus back to Tokyo. I loved this experience and am already looking forward to coming here again on my next Japan trip!
