The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly. It is a little out of the center of town but we preferred this as it was a bit more quiet and gave us a reason to walk around and enjoy the scenery while on the way to things.

The curtains only block the bottom part of the windows, the upper windows do not have curtains so we woke up from the light before 6am.. This would be an easy fix for the property to make it a more comfortable stay.

L’emplacement face au lac, le calme, la bakery à côté pour les super petit-déjeuners. L’amabilité du personnel, les lits, la propreté. Tout était ok!

- the rooms were clean - staff wasn't always around but our limited contact with them was friendly and helpful - we had a view of Mt Fuji from our room, big plus! - there's a nice little bakery down the hill where we always got our breakfast, highly recommended!

- if you're a light/sensitive sleeper, I would not recommend booking here. There are some windows in the room that don't have curtains so you're up when the sun is up.. On top of that, the walls are very thin, and the building is, despite being renovated, quite old so the hallways echo a lot. You can hear your downstairs and next door neighbours walking around in their room. If you're very unlucky, like we were, you have neighbours shouting at their crying children at 22:00 at night.. We contacted staff about it and they were very helpful though. - the location isn't great, compared to other hotels in Kawaguchiko. There's little to no restaurants within walking distance, and public transport has limited options going even close to the hotel in the evening; we ended up taking a taxi a few times. - there was only ice cold water coming from the sink, so we had to use the faucet in the shower to get some lukewarm water to wash our faces
