There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but please note the following: There was only one bathroom for all the guests but tbh this wasn’t an issue as it was generally free when needed. This is traditional Japanese house so be prepared for thin walls

The owner is really helpful, even dropped me off at the station. The location was perfect cause its outside the busy streets. Rent a bike and everything is possible!

The host was really friendly, even though he did not speak english fluently he made himself understood. The room was big enough, the bed was fine, the bathroom was clean and the house was cozy. We rented electric bikes 250 yen per hour, really useful for exploring the town and the places around the lake.

It is a little far from the station, about 20 minutes walk, fortunately the host offered to give us a ride to the station when we were living.

It's an okay pension for staying one or two days close to Mt Fuji.

There is only one toilet to share for the entire guests. This can lead to long waiting times, especially in the evenings. Same holds true for the bath room. Once there is a guy deciding to take a bath you can wait for hours to take a shower. In general, this is unbearable for a family of four! In particular, because as a family you pay quadruple prices, even for young kids! It's bad value for money and I would not stay there again! The neighbourhood of the pension is okay, but nothing more. It was one out of two unplesant stays in a four weeks trip through Japan!
